"The food wasn't great, but it was edible.We paid for the all-you-can-eat option that included the nigiri sushi. We first got the sushi and I was a bit worried. The fish wasn't fresh at all and looked dried out. The sushi rice was overseasoned with vinegar and much too sour. The rolls were cut unevenly and came apart easily when using chopsticks. The miso soup and seaweed salad tasted store-bought, like the pre-made stuff you'd get at a Restaurant Depot. The only thing my wife and I enjoyed was the salmon skin salad, where the salmon skin was at least crispy.In terms of ambiance, it was darkly lit inside but you could tell the interior was run down and the owner didn't put much time in upkeep and appearance. The only bright spot was that the server was very attentive and pleasant."

"I absolutely love this restaurant! I usually order Japanese dishes, but they also offer Chinese specialties. They have unique daily specials displayed on a wall board, and I think the choices are great. I have tried many amazing sushi rolls that were all savory and delicious. Their homemade sauces, dressings, and traditional Japanese tempura batter are fantastic. The entrees have a unique fusion of Japanese and Chinese flavors that are all very tasty and flavorful. The service is fast, but seating is limited. The sauces, dressings, and sushi rolls have a wow factor with authentic Japanese flavors. The prices are fair for the generous portions. The female sushi chef, Paula, is amazing and very talented. The atmosphere is okay, not fancy, especially with fewer tables due to Covid. They offer a lot of takeout options with free items like chow mein, egg rolls, and fried rice for orders over $40 or $60. They have a variety of lunch specials for $9.50 over rice. The specialty rolls and regular sushi are all very fresh, flavorful, and served with natural ginger and wasabi. The spicy mayo and crab mix in the rolls are really tasty. I recommend trying all the specialty rolls like the Dragon Roll, Crunchy Roll, Tempura Roll, and some baked rolls. My personal favorite is the Fresh Mango Roll."

"I got takeout here and it was so delicious! Their rolls were big, fresh and so worth the price. The space in the restaurant might seem a little but off at first (we were there when the dine in time was closed and only take out was being offered), but don’t let that fool you! I love this place and would totally come back again!"

"Exceptional food! I try something different every time and always close some sushi that is delicious and fresh. The delivery is super fast and the drivers are always very friendly. The menu is huge so it is difficult to decide what to eat. The portions are quite large and I think the prices are more than fair for what you get. "I don't ask much from my sweet and sour chicken only that it satisfies my once a month craving. I know that I won't be presented with big chunks of chicken like I remember from my youth on the East Coast, so I've become accustomed with the low ratio of chicken to breading situation. Zen Asian Bistro was no different in that regard; however, they did hit the mark on the flavor of the sauce and the variety of vegetables that came with the dish. Lunch time gets you salad and an egg roll as well. It was well worth it and the food was delicious and the service was attentive. Plus, it's always nice to have the option of ordering sushi, which i did partake of a California maki (roll). They could've rolled me out of their dining room after stuffing my face! I'm surprised it wasn't busier."

"I am very happy with their service and the taste of most of their food. However, when I placed an order of a L8 (chow mein and rice with a choice of one side) the sides say chicken fingers, or chicken wings, (notice how they are plural, as if you get more than one) They are all the same price for sides unless you get an egg roll and that's $1.50 extra. I ordered a spring roll for my side and it was incredibly small. I only got one, and it was very mushy, like it was frozen and microwaved. There was barely anything in it. It was basically just a mushy thing I ate in two bites. Other than that, I enjoyed the food very much. I'll just never get the spring rolls again when I come back here. I'll pay extra for the egg roll and hope that is better, or I'll get a different side."

"this is my favorite Costasia Fusion place in westchester, especially for tonys sushi and sashimi! the kitchen is also very good. but the quality, variety and presentation of sushi and sashimi is unmatched. chef wang is a master when sauces, often the creation of a certain fish he serves. we eat in the regular at the sushi bar, and it is a joy to watch him at work. service is very good, and the prices are fair, a bargain for the quality they enjoy."
