"don't go to this location! the employee was some dude who was on his phone while making the smoothies. i love tropical smoothie but sadly this location always screws up my order. this was the last straw for me, tons of mango chunks were getting caught inmy straw so i went to dump it down the sink and the fruit chunks at the bottom were huge (photo for proof! it used to be ablessing having a healthy food place so close to campus but i'd rather not keep wasting my money."

"Not very friendly. I like the place in Fort Worth better. This place is out of ingredients already this early in the day (11:07 AM). And asking for your own ingredients seems like a bother to the them because they make faces like they’re annoyed... ? If you aren’t happy with your job, then quit and do something else! "The smoothies my coworkers and I ordered were not blended at all. There are huge chunks of fruit and ice that are too big for the straws. The peanut butter cup smoothie didn’t have any peanut butter in it, it tasted like watered down chocolate powder with banana chunks. I order from the location on 151st and blackbob all the time and have never had this problem there."

"This place is perfect for lunch. The price is average and the drink and food quality is top notch. My husband and I split the Caribbean chicken wrap. It was packed with flavor and the right amount of spice. My daughter got a cookie and did it was delicious. Now the smoothies were outstanding.. We tried sunrise sunset, blimey limey, and beach bum. See my pictures for details on what each includes. I gotta say I'm super impressed. So yummy. The staff was super friendly as well. There was just two of them and they both wished is a happy holiday."

"The food is good, but the facility is dirty. Dirty countertop and dirty supplies near where the food is kept. I was there today and while I paid for my order, one of the workers began to sweep the ground near the uncovered foods that order customers. Contact Health Dept, how do you cove near uncovered foods that are consumed?"

"I came to this place with my son at 8:40. I was informed that it was closed, but the store informed that it closed at 9:00. The staff refused to answer me, then informed me that I could only order a strawberry juice with banana and so I put the order as shown on the photo. I asked if I could make a sandwich for my son and they said no. You always laugh because he didn't speak the language perfectly. I sat down to drink the juice with my son, soon after 3 more people came in and managed to make their wishes. Because I was a tourist and did not speak the language, I was abused and suffered prejudice. I would like to know whether this is the attitude of the employees of this institution to treat their customers."

"Baja Chicken and Chia smoothie were very good! however while eating the hummus wrap I had an off taste but decided to take a huge bite.. big mistake Im not aure which ingredient was oversalted or if whoever made my wrap had accidentally dumped a pile of salt into my wrap. Either way I still like the other food but please fix the Salty HUMMUS VEGGIE ."

"The Island Green smoothie is my favorite and they did a great job blending, although the ratio of banana was higher than other ingredients but I don't mind that But this was the first (or maybe one of the first) time I tried food from Tropical. Now I know why I stick to smoothies. The Supergreen Caesar Chicken Wrap was good but. It phenomenal. It seemed bland, or simply not worth ordering again. The sweet potato bites were nice. I could taste the maple, and I appreciated the portion size! But also not something I plan to get again. Staff was polite."

"I ordered a veggie hummus wrap and the blueberry bliss smoothie for delivery. When my food arrived the man had forgotten my smoothie. My wrap, ends being the Buffalo chicken wrap. I don't eat meat, I am vegetarian. The food will make me sick. I called the restaurant to say a mistake was made. I had to call 4 times until someone answered and then hung up, then I called back immediately. I explained my situation. The worker was short with me but did apologize and then blamed the doordash person for forgetting the smoothie which honestly I do not care about. I care that they gave me the incorrect order. I was told they would correct the situation and deliver the correct food. That was 2 hours ago and no one has contacted me. I am working and couldn't physically go in, to correct it."

"The salad couldve used some more dressing, but overall pretty good. Id remove the parm crisps if I got it again, bc theyre not crunchy enough to handle the light amount of dressing I got. Second best caesar salad in Ocala though. (Best one is at Cheddars)"

"TSC is always a great option for our family no matter what city we are in. Say no to fake food, fast food. We enjoyed the quesadilla, the avocado grilled cheese, the caribbean sandwiches, heck even the salads are tasty. Now the avocolada smoothie is always my favorite. Daughters favorite is the chicken capri. Caring dads and moms: Please know the ingredients in the food and in the “oil” the food is being deep fried in. "drive them thru on sept 2 was a little slow what is expected, I usually have good visits and generally enjoy the tropical smoothie caffe experience. problem this day was the type that took my order very short with me. and obviously upset by his job!? to make it worse. I hear my total number, I have my card ready and old reaches the window with a card reader. literally looks at the other wise while it hardly holds. I then know* that we need to participate in the transaction and I want to decide for a 7$ smoothie. dude cries directions to me (with his head turned) an unpleasant situation from what is normally a seamless process! not a good call from companies to bring back the hand held card reader in the thru running gear. I remember that workers last year said they were strictly forbidden to take tips and now they have a card reader who automatically asks if we want to give a tip?"

"I do not recommend this restaurant. I ordered food to go and didn’t check my bag thoroughly when I picked it up. When I got home, I realized they had given me the wrong order. I called to explain the situation, but they told me there was nothing they could do over the phone and that I needed to speak to a manager in person. When I arrived, they continued to argue with me. Eventually, I became frustrated and left without resolving the issue. After this experience, I will look for other locations in the future."
