"The great thing about U Street is the huge variety of food. We felt like something flavorful, so we picked ethiopian food. The restaurant itself is quite large, so it shouldn’t take too long to be seated, even on a Saturday night. We ended up getting some Ethiopian beers while waiting; I was slightly disappointed they didn’t have the Hakim Stout (though they had some lagers), which is amazing for a bottle beer. The food was okay. The meat quality seemed pretty good, but nothing really stuck out to me. They had a raw beef dish (heavily spiced of course) that was interesting."
