"Food was fantastic... even the tortilla chips were cooked to perfection. Light airy and perfectly salted. We were there on a Saturday night with live music which was at the right sound level, very entertaining and a great sound overall. We sat outside, which was beautiful, allowed an ESA outside as well. We received great service. A definite must dine location while in downtown Denver."

"This is the best Mexican place in the area and just happens to also be priced extremely affordable! Definitely go here. You will love it! Pico de gallo and guacamole are our go to 'pick up to go ' snacks all the rest of the food is amazing and authentic. The atmosphere is totally cute and casual. "Our food was outstanding! We started with a frozen mango margarita and it was one of the best I have ever had. Chips were seasoned and yummy as well as the cheese dip. I had fajitas and my husband got a chicken burrito which were excellent and had way more than we could eat. The fresh salsa, chunky guacamole and the poblano sauce were also excellent. If you love Mexican food you will not be disappointed!"

"This place was a disappointment. The taco tortilla and gordita were drenched in oil, making every bite taste bland and overly greasy. After just a few bites, my mouth and throat felt coated in grease. I tried both the taco and gordita with different meats, but I couldn't bring myself to finish either."

"The food was out of this world. Everything was nicely packed and stayed warm. Utensils were provided upon request. The Nacho Supremo was perfect, topped with fresh avocado. The only suggestion would be for extra chips on the side, as some were soggy on the bottom. The veggie burrito was delicious and the rice and beans were flavorful. The steak tacos came in a set of 4 and we asked for extra salad and tomatoes on the side. There was so much food!"

"Guacamole was fresh and tasty but the Churrasco Steak was unexpectedly spicy so it was inedible for me. It arrived in a pan mixed with rice, beans and veggies which were either spicy on their own or from the steak being buried under it all. Big mess in a pan!"

"Puerta Mexicana is a tiny but super cute neighborhood joint with a friendly staff, fair prices and good portions. Most importantly I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE FOOD!!! I usually order pretty much once a week and they are hands down the BEST restaurant in East Rockaway and make some of the best Mexican food on Long Island. My go to items are the chorizo quesadilla, chicken, pork, chorizo or mushroom tacos, enchiladas mole, and the tostadas. They have great guacamole, salsas and vegetarian options as well. Definitely a great spot for the authentic Mexican food lover! *Update, recently ate inside and had the new quesi tacos de birria, ... OMG, I'm in love!!! ????????"

"Chips were the only thing somewhat decent. They forgot our salsa and the guacamole was mostly onion and tomato and cilantro. Chicken enchiladas were dry, garlic shrimp had no flavor and the tortillas were rubbery. The beef tacos had more cilantro then beef and they forgot the cheese and tomatoes requested. The wet burrito was lackluster and the sauces were not good either. Definitely didn't get an authentic feel and won't order again :"
