"Love their beef and chicken combo, saffron rice, and green sauce! It’s a bonus that it comes with a choice of hummus. Other places you have to order hummus as an extra side. Haven’t come across another place that offers this amazing green sauce they make. I usually have to order an extra side of the both saffron rice and green sauce because it is soooo delicious! Can’t get enough of it! The owner and staff is always great. Been coming here for the last 7-years even though we’re closer to Glendale, we would rather make the drive to this side of Pasadena just for their food!"

"Plenty of seats and parking available arriving at 11 am when they opened. Customer service was great, they checked on us multiple times and made sure we well taken cared of. There are a lot of vegetarian options available here; pretty much the whole appetizer menu. The kashk o basenjan (eggplant dish) was very unique and flavorful. The protein from the Soltani were very tender and easy to chew. They do give you a lot of rice with this dish. My favorite item was the khoresht fesenjan. It was a little tangy maybe due to the pomegranates that were puréed with this. The Faloodeh was different but was really good. The rose water gave the ice a sorta syrupy taste and the noodles gave it texture. I want to try more from the menu."

"not love the bad reviews! or if it is so far, it is so. yes, there was a grouchier man who worked there, he was the former owner of 20 years. he was not the most friendly guy on the block, but he turned out some awsome persian food! No matter what the weather is, he remained too late open. he didn't talk much, but he gave u her money. eating is always 100 fresh. the new owners are friendly and professional. the menus are the same. the quality is perfect. this comes from someone who eats in only upscale 5 star restaurants in los angeles. this food is lovely."
