"Dined in tonight. The people are so polite and very kind. We ordered two meals. The shrimp and broccoli was fabulous. The brown sauce that they used has a very unique yet delicious flavor. The shrimp were prepared perfectly. We also had Shrimp Lo Mein. The noodles were prepared perfectly. The sauce again was unique but very tasty. The appearance of the business is welcoming and the lighting is relaxing. If you enjoy Chinese food and want something different this is the place to go."

"Can’t tell you what their food is like. We walked out because none of the staff was masked at the height of a surge in the virus. When we asked they flippantly said it was fine because everyone was vaccinated. That’s their prerogative. But when dining with kids, our choice was to not support a business that doesn’t take every precaution to keep their customers and themselves safe. We were all masked and care just as much about impacting others as being needlessly exposed."

"Food was nicely presented, but not hot at all. For desert I ordered a mini sundae which I always order when at Baumgart's....seems like the scoop was much smaller this time around. Then, the server dropped the check, processed my credit card and when she dropped off my receipt, she told me the restaurant is closed and that I had to leave."

"we are still in a pandemic and restaurants are required to carry their chefs masks as they cook and eat. that was not the case when I went in there while they had a protective plastic in the cash box and the person who rang in the food had his mask on, all three cooks in the back had no mask at all and to deteriorate, talked about the food...absolutely disgusting."

"Four consecutive Sundays my Catfish was served cold, they gave me fresh and hot after the waitress took it back but to be served cold fish four Sundays in a row is unacceptable on any terms. "This restaurant is a longtime favorite of ours whenever we're in Minnesota. We've been coming here for several years now. They have recently updated the lighting and flooring, but the benches are still uncomfortable. However, the wait is never too long. The food is consistently delicious and the portion sizes are generous. I ordered a side of bacon and received six pieces for the price of three. My son also received a large portion of bacon. The blueberry cake he ordered was the size of a dinner plate. I opted for the French toast, which was tasty. There is usually a wait to be seated, but we were seated immediately today. The staff is friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone."

"The food here used to be much better. It seems like some of the food is burnt or just doesn't taste as good as I remember. I've had orange chicken at other places that was delicious, but here is not so good. However I commend them for remaking some of the items that seemed burnt. I was able to go and get that food fresh without charge. I would say to go to yummy yummy in the Price chopper plaza because their food is much better. But Oriental is not bad. And they are open Tuesday.. and on holidays. A lot of other Chinese restaurants are not."

"Started food here about 8 years ago and have loved it ever since! It's a way to my husband and I if we had a long day and couldn't collect the energy to cook. Broccoli with garlic sauce is my favorite! The French fries are usually very good. Baked rice is also really good. Thanks Golden Kitchen!"
