"“A nice little relaxing car in and out of Hamilton Field, I always find that I leave Hamilton Cafe happy.” It is a nice, clean and cozy little place, with an open kitchen and a large deck for outdoor dining, served good honest cuisine at a very reasonable price. I would describe her food as fresh prep up-to-date “comfort food” and I enjoy her “slow cook” food most. Since the size of their kitchen is quite small, I am very impressed by the selection on the menu, and there was never a long wait from one course to another. The servers are always polite, helpful and do their job well. Most people could worry about what they order for their first visit, maybe wonder if some dishes are better than the others, NOT with Hamilton Cafe. Whether it's a dish from the regular menu or from the daily special selection, I could randomly choose a dish and my culinary experience would be just as good as being very careful as I always taste the selection of my wife as well as mine, but I can't say the same about most other restaurants in Marin County. Hamilton Cafe keeps things simple and consistent, and have earned my trust over a period of 2 years that my wife and I decided to dine there on Valentine's Day 2 months ago. It was an excellent decision as all our dining room expectations were impressively met. I usually do not give my contact information to any restaurant for advertising purposes, but I made an exception for Hamilton Cafe, because I was always impressed by the quality of the different dishes and consistency over several visits, and it was worth my effort. This honest little hidden gem without the hype is my Novato recommended place."
