"We made a last-minute decision to eat out on Mothers ' Day because our steaks had not defrosted, and it was a bit too cool to use the grill. 38 Degrees has a new barbecue menu, and we all decided to try it. I ordered the brisket with spicy cole slaw and Tempura green beans. My friend and my son opted for two entrees; both had the brisket, one also had chicken and the other had ribs. Everything tasted quite good, but we all agreed that the brisket was excessively fatty. That was a disappointment. If I try the barbecue meal again, I 'll opt for the ribs, pulled pork, or chicken (not two or three because, even with one protein, it was a large dinner. Our server was very attentive and apologized when our meals took longer than usual to reach the table. I prefer the rest of the menu to the barbecue dishes (I 'm a grilled salmon fan, and theirs is very good), but won 't hesitate to try the barbecue meals again."
