"Really amazing service, friendly, fast, accurate and accommodating. The 14 oz ribeye was wonderful, obviously local, South Dakota beef, well marbled, juicy, and delicious, cooked to order. They were able to accommodate our group of 10, which wasn't obvious from the looks of the bar in front, but the restaurant in back was well large enough to take us all. The fries were good, the onion rings had a super crisp crust on them, but the big winner were the sweet potato fries, which had a super light crisp crust on waffle cut sweet potatoes. Those were amazing. The burgers were all beautifully char grilled and were substantial, you can order them by the weight of the patty and how many patties you want. Lots of great choices and a whole menu of bottled beers as well as the full service bar. "Excellent experience at Kona grill. Jodie waited on us and is a great example of what superior service is. We ordered an appetizer, two rolls, an entree, and dessert and everything exceeded our expectations. The restaurant itself had a great atmosphere. We will definitely be back and highly recommend!"

"We took a Sunday drive to Breaux Bridge and had brunch at Cafe Sydnie Mae’s. The food service was excellent (but the bread pudding was fantastic)! When leaving we had car trouble and needed to go to the auto part store down the street. The owner, David offered to bring my husband their and back and assisted with the repairs. It was a genuine act of kindness and southern hospitality and it was much appreciated! It was our first trip there but it certainly won’t be our last!"

"First time visit Customer service by our waitress Norma was top notch friendly and attentive.Menudo and Barbacoa were superb delicious corn tortillas hand made were deliciousI would definitely return because of the excellent customer service and delicious food.However I would never sit in a booth or booth #2 where we sat and made this an unpleasant experience.The restaurant booth is worn and outdated, The cushions are sunken, providing little support, and you can feel the hard frame beneath. This booth #2 clearly hasn't been updated in years and detracts from the dining experience.Unfortunately there was no other seating available since place was packed.Hopefully restaurant owner will update booth"

"I visited this restaurant on a Saturday morning. It was not too crowded when I arrived, but it got busier as I was leaving. Parking was easy to find. I have tried their burgers before and they are really good, but I had never had their breakfast. I decided to order the Sweet Cream Pancakes plate a la Boss Man. It consisted of Karo Syrup mixed with creamy peanut butter spread on top of the pancakes. Even though I am not a big fan of peanut butter, I was pleasantly surprised at how well it complemented the syrup and pancakes. The portion size was generous and also came with 2 eggs and a choice of meat. I chose linguiça with cheese on the eggs. Everything was cooked perfectly. I was very impressed with the quality of the food. We were a group of 9 people, so we had to be seated at separate tables, so I would not recommend this place for large parties. However, the food was served quickly. Our server was friendly and I enjoyed the nostalgic 50's atmosphere of the diner, which played old TV programs on the TV. I highly recommend this restaurant."

"We have loved this building for now four generations of our family coming here. The current proprietor makes delicious food and pours her heart and skills into every scratch recipe. Today, we were well taken care of as we celebrated my mom’s 75th birthday in their outdoor dining space. Everyone loved their food, enjoyed friendly attentive service, and enjoyed many “memory lane” conversations about coming to The Bair (and Mom working part-time here back in the day). Nostalgic, special, fabulous food, and great people. Thank you to Sara and her fantastic team!"

"I always feel bad for the server, so 2 stars. I really believe that all reviews are coworkers because we arrived on a Sunday @2:39 I asked if they closed @3:00 or stopped the breakfast 3:00? they nod their head and said we should come in. We did not wish we asked for guacamole for appetizer almost immediately and we were the only people in the restaurant and it took 25 minutes. the guacamole that finally came was ripe avocados and not very good. eating was cold and enchilada sauce tasted like baby food. How does baby food taste? as powdered added water tasteless as if it were enchilada gravy taste. I put my food in a serviette and served my dogs. we also ordered burgers with pommes, which was better and warmer as they had to cook the meat frit of the French pommes. each meal was served 1 at a time. the enchilada meal first, then 1 of the hamburger meal, then another hamburger meal, etc. we could not eat and leave quickly enough 3:40. burger king next to the burgers would have been much cheaper and much better. the hours are limited M-Sat 8-5, on Sunday 8-3? that's good for breakfast and lunch. I saw many employees counted 7 server, but it felt like they closed the kitchen at 2:30 on Sunday and had to take the food back to make our order. yes, this place was the worst eating and slow service I can honestly say that I had “everyone”. I suggest you retaliate your money and tasty and go somewhere else. when they take the challenge, I suggest that they pay attention to the limited hours or they will hold with cold, small portions. we also got 10 chips for 4 people. we counted! then 10 to go with the guacamol! really?! I would normally not be so negatiw and try to be positiw, but I think I must be honest and hopefully save others the disregard. ah!"

"our visit to foragers canteen was not planned that we have never been there, nor were we told about it. So we were green from the beginning. the first impression was the beautiful exterior, some with rainshade and others had no sunshades. for time we visited all tables with screens were used. So we chose to eat inside. which has proved itself well since the air conditioning. we had a great table next to the window to see the local shops and buyers. our waitress was very nice, although she seemed to be hostess, at the same time she waited for tables. She was attentive and her kick waitress was also helpful. our food was served quite fast, my guess was about 15 minutes. I had the snatching laughs, my wife had the veggie taco, who was actually two medium-sized tacos and contained a big salate. I thought my meal would be good, but not with a wow it was great in taste, but it was carved. would have been better if it were all laughs that were not mined. the side of the college, which I ordered with very good and somewhat larger than industry standards. up there on the claw. the price was good or fair for today's economy. the price structure is therefore difficult to judge lately because the economy. we can come back if I were in the opposite but would not say that I would go back diffinat. while I give 4 stars at the same time. if my assessment helped them in any way, choose the same taste."
