"maya mexican restaurant in the city of wilmington is a nice little place to have authentic Mexican cuisine. we were immediately tall and it was all in Spanish (what my wife, fortunately, speaks fluent, I still learn) and sat immediately. the chips and salsa hit and the heat was exactly right in salsa. my wife and I have both tortas, I have the carnita torta and she got the carne asada torta. the carnita was cooked quite differently than on the east coast, fried and dried, but still very good. 5/5 would be recommended for authentic Mexican foods."

"Surprised I didn't review this place sooner! It's a really nice cafe. Not too bright, so it has really dinette lighting so you can have some deep conversations with friends. What's interesting is there are A LOT of people here, but that still doesn't mean it's super noisy somehow. Nice mix of grandparents taking their grandkids, and young couples here. This is a cafe for everyone, with sweets and drinks for all sorts of people!If you don't take my word, that's fine! More of this cafe for me to enjoy!"

"Incompetent, unprofessional, and ridiculously slow staff. Placed an order via GrubHub for 2 slices of pizza around 12:30am. Called around 1am to confirm that they received my order and was told they were “just waiting for it to come out of the oven.” At 1:40 I received a notification from grubhub saying that my order was arriving soon (within 10 mins). At 1:50 I called the restaurant again and was told my order hadn’t even left the restaurant yet and would probably arrive in about 20 minutes. After asking why they confirmed on Grubhub that the order was arriving soon, the man I spoke to proceeded to bark at me that there was only 1 oven in the restaurant and that the order would be here soon. I asked once again why they pushed it through on the grub hub app as if it was on the way already and was told it was intentional “because the driver was almost back and your order was gonna be next”. So not only did my two slices of pizza take 2 hours to arrive (at 2:28am), but the restaurant straight up admitted to cheating the grubhub system to make it seem like their orders were on the way within the given timeframe even though they were not. And to top it all off, when the driver finally arrived I was greeted with “are you the one who was yelling at us?”. He then proceeded to tell me how he ran a red light to get the order to me, as if that somehow negated the fact that my food was an hour late and ice cold"

"Today, I decided to order a chopped cheese sandwich and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. I specifically asked for no lettuce or tomato, but that request was not honored. The sandwich was lacking in both meat and cheese, which was a major letdown considering the name of the sandwich. Additionally, there was no mayo or ketchup included. It seemed like the person preparing the sandwich did not care about the quality of their work. In the end, my girlfriend had to remake the entire sandwich because it looked like a mess. I'm not trying to criticize the restaurant, but it's important to speak up when things are not up to standard so that the person responsible can improve their work ethic and provide customers with a better experience."

"It was okay, the reviews made me think it would be spectacular! But the chicken was dry in my tacos and the flavoring was weird. Tortillas were stale. The chilli cheese fries were good, but not the best I?ve had. Al pastor was okay but had a lot of fat. Salsa is way to much lime! Customer service was okay. Every time I called they would hang up on me. Would I eat here again? Probably not. But maybe I?ll have to give it another shot by tasting something else on their large menu."

"This place is the best Mexican I’ve ever had in Utah. I’d put this over anything because of its great menu, prices, food quantity, and delicious taste. Coming from California, this is the closest I can get and I love it : . Parking: There’s a small amount of parking right next to the restaurant, however there’s a Vasa next door with lots of it. It’s just more of a walk."

"I've been here so many times as it is a local restaurant and they offer so many Latino dishes. I've had so many different plates and drinks and not once have I been failed. Everything is freshly made and not microwaved which is the best part. Also, all the people who work here are kind and will not hesitate to provide the best service to you. "I 've been going here for years. Food is still great, especially the breakfast burritos! Someone mentioned that after the reopening, the burritos are now half the size. I don 't even remember them selling 16 burritos. See my photo for proof, as an 8 burrito is pretty big. The single meat is $9.99 (slightly up from the previous $8.99) and the 3-meat is $10.99 (up from $8.99). Rest assured, the food quality hasn 't dipped at all, and the renovations look great. I 'm happy to see it back up and running!"
