"Since the Jefferson Diner was in the Food Network, the food is downhill while the prices have risen. I've been a lot to this diner. I'll never go there again today after this last trip. I met a friend there. She got a cup of Lobster Bisque soup a Hamburger Parmigiana plate with Fritten, she wanted waffleries so she was extra charged and I got a cheeseburger. No fries, nothing. It's $27.50. $27.50.??? This is a diner!! Not any place in the lower Manhattan!!!!!!!!!!!! The hamburgers were thick, but they were terrible."

"Broadsheet diner is one of the good restaurant you can find in the neighborhood. The staffs were really friendly, welcoming and we did not have any problem to get a seat. The dining atmosphere was very good, which is also an important factor for food experience. Now regarding the food. The breakfast was OK in my opinion. If you?re looking for a quick hangout this will work out. I?m a lover of good American breakfast. For some reasons, I did not like their home fries (just me). They have variety of omelettes to choose from. Their sausage was too big and heavy. Our waitress said we?d be charged extra for wheat toast. Little surprised. Overall the restaurant is good to have one time meal. Vegetarian will have to customize your food. Not a lot of options."

"Went there for the first time yesterday. The staff is friendly and service quick and excellent. I got the beef gyro, delicious and reasonably priced. The orzo soup amazing! My favorite was the way they make their fries, hot and crispy and enough for a whole meal I went back today and got a delicious corned beef Ruben. Today I noticed they have beautiful pastries including cheese cake and baklava. Can't wait to try their breakfast and dinner items!"

"I visited this restaurant four years ago and had a fantastic experience, but it seems to have declined significantly since then. Many items on the menu were unavailable, and the tables, chairs, and floor were dirty. It was also off-putting to see children running around empty tables and playing as if it were a daycare. It really reflects poorly on the management. I won't be coming back!"

I have been very disappointed with all our other local dinners lately and nearly forgot about acropolis (moved away for a few years) they are by far the best diner in town great food great people I go nearly every morning. I would have given 5 stars for atmosphere but one of their longest working servers tends to walk around causing problems with the other servers and complaining about the owners right in front of customers and it makes me uncomfortable. Everyone else is happy and great at their jobs and love the owners. "Good food, but questionable customer service. I ordered an ice cream coffee, server asked if I refused vanilla and I. We were accused of additional costs for vanilla anyway, and the cashier seemed not satisfied with changing it. What was changed to $4... when we came back, they seemed even less happy to change that. It's a trivial amount of money, but it's the principle. Good and fair customer service would make it right without trouble or attitude. Edit: not sure how to react to the owner's response below. This happened today at 11:30 am at the San Mateo site, and we have dived. Take the offer, but don't worry about the ice cream, we won't return. Just make sure your workers have a good morality."

"We received a wonderful welcome from Victor, even though we arrived a bit late for our reservation. He was incredibly friendly and made us feel like regulars. He seemed genuinely pleased that we chose his restaurant for breakfast. The Valentine's Day decorations added a lovely touch, and despite the rainy weather, we felt cheerful. We particularly enjoyed the adorable Minnie and Mickey Mouse decorations in the front windows. We were seated right away and offered coffee, which was fresh and delicious—so much that my husband and I each had three cups! Our server, Cesar, was attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed. The menu was extensive. My husband ordered pancakes with a side of bacon. The three pancakes were large and fluffy, and the bacon was crispy and flavorful. His meal included orange juice and coffee. I opted for the Super Healthy Breakfast Wrap, which came with turkey bacon, tomatoes, avocado, Swiss cheese, and spinach wrapped in whole wheat. It was heavenly—who knew healthy food could taste this good? We were thrilled with our breakfast experience and highly recommend Grand Canyon!"

"We had a great experience having brunch at this restaurant! After missing the Cross Sound Ferry back to Rhode Island, we stayed at a nearby hotel and found this place near the Sayville ferry. Despite the Sunday morning rush, we were able to snag bar seating. I ordered the corned beef hash which was delicious and clearly made from scratch. My companion got the eggs and avocado Benedict with turkey bacon, also tasty. The specialty drink menu looked tempting, especially the cereal and mimosa flights. Although our server could have been more attentive, I would definitely make the effort to dine here again before or after catching the Sayville ferry. It's no wonder why this place is a local favorite."

"If you are in the mood for Diner tariff, this is the best place to go. The staff always smiles, they remember who you are, and they sweat with you. "AUTION: DELICIOUS Breakfast at any time! Oh, man, I was so happy that we found this cool diner before our hike in Hudson Highland State Park. The brunch we had was delicious, filled and very generous. We had three separate commands: Nutella Banans French toast (aka sky on earth), buttermilk pancakes with eggs and bacon, and an order of the western omelette accompanied by rye roasted and Homefries Everything was made with love, almost perfection! This place is really clean, has friendly waiters, and a cool 1950s Diner Vibe go. We will certainly come back, even if it is only to eat! I wish more places would have this house like Style Diner. Just a head up, the coffee is also amazing! Bring the family and enjoy! Ps: The portions are large."
