"I love the St PAUL Grill, but the lamb chop I had was the toughest lamb chop I have ever had. That was disappointing. The prices are up as well, I had one drink, no appetizers and no dessert. My son doesn’t drink and the bill was $150. A bit disappointing but I knew what I was getting myself in for."

"I just love Fresh Market! I'll listen whenever I'm in Brighton. I love that they have vegans and gluten-free options! I always look at the fully cooked TV dinner section... It is always exciting for me to see what plant-based option they have created for this week. I'm also a HUGE fan of the calf and sweet potato salad with brown sugar dress from the salad bar... (it's my favorite! the fresh juices in the house are always a good choice. Also a nice little bonus as it is almost Christmas, as I leave this comment... You can find gelatin free (vegan marshmallows here for your holiday table! They store many different gluten-free treats such as bread, bakery, crackers and more! I've even seen them make gluten-free pizza dough. They also carry a beautiful range of high quality meat and fish. Here's something for everyone! And it's such a great place to stop for a healthy fast lunch. Staff are so nice and friendly, they make it a wonderful place to visit! If you are not yet in Simple Fresh Market, make sure you try it. You will not be disappointed!"

"Food was good. Service was excellent. It was not to busy so drinks and food came to the table pretty fast. Only concern I can say is that the fish sandwich was a little greasy/soggy. If they fried the fish a minute or so longer I think it would turn out crispy and not slide out of the bread. Around 10 bucks a person to eat. Not a bad little pub and grub."

"Returned here after we had a really nice evening a few years ago. Something must have changed in management or concept. The man greeting us at the door was wearing an old worn sweater and old used jeans. The waiter was friendly and competent although a second waiter (not wearing any “official” clothes) approached us 2 times asking for things the normal waiter had already asked us. She was not impolite or something! The whole situation just seemed kind of “uncoordinated”. The food was okay not a blast but decent food for the pricing range."

"my husband, my daughter and I often eat. I could even say that we have become food of the okanagan. we do our best to try something new every month. we have eaten in oak cru once or twice, only for. or a fast snack. we decided to give it to dinner. wow! only wow! what a pleasant surprise! our server was anthony and he was nothing shy of spectacular! he was friendly, knowledgeable and his recommendations were perfect! we had a few cocktails, most of which were under the advice of anthony and all were delish! To dinner we had the crust hoolibut, the steak and the steel head. I honestly couldn't tell them what was best. they were all amazing! an absolute must is the skill-smores for dessert. I don't care how full they order it! when they read one of my reviews, they will know that I am a great advocate of good service. I think the chic of a restaurant is really in the hands of the server because they create the experience. anthony did this! We all returned to the car and shaved all the way to the house, how wonderful he was and how he did our night. our monthly tradition of eating will continue, but let me tell them anthony has set the bar so high, I am not sure that every restaurant has ever measured for the experience he has provided us. nice anthony! I hope their bosse realize what they are for one they are in their device! we hope to see them again!"

"My date and I decided to stop by this sports bar after our dinner at Cafe Borgia. We were in the mood for some pool and darts, but unfortunately, they don’t have those available. Instead, we decided to stick around and people-watch (the crowd was very young), ordering drinks and a few appetizers. The pork quesadillas and pork bites were excellent. Our server, a friendly and attentive college student, added to our enjoyment. It's a great spot to catch a game and enjoy a live DJ at 10 PM."

"Saturday nights are the nights for my wife, daughter and I to eat out. Last Saturday night was our first outing to the Tavern. The food was excellent, as was the service. The only problem we had with the evening, was the noise level. It was difficult to even hear ourselves think, and we had to lean across the table to speak to each other. If it had not been for that, we would have given the Tavern an excellent rating accross the board. We will be back on a different evening to see if it is any better."

"I was extremely disappointed in the service I received last weekend. I set a reservation 10 days in advance. I had a couple of friends visiting from Kentucky, they had never been to Chicago.We arrived 15 minutes early from our reservation to a sign crudely written on the door they were closed for a private party. Waiting for a few minutes, someone noticed us and opened the door. They let us in when I told them we had reservations. After ordering a drink and appetizer, at a minimum, 30 minutes go by before they return to take dinner orders. After placing them, another 30 minutes pass until the server returned with our check and said the food should be out shortly. After paying, probably 10 minutes go by and we finally receive our food. Well, my friends did. Mine didn’t come out for another 10 minutes. All of our food was ice cold, except for my French fries, which clearly were still raw for the most part. During this, they were tearing down the entire restaurant to make space for this party that was going to happen, so we were the only table left standing while we awkwardly ate our poorly cooked food while they stared and wanted us to finish so we would leave.I had been here a few times before and loved it, but this was so disappointing to bring guests here and receive this level of service. Will have to think twice again before coming back."

"The restaurant has a strong, unpleasant smell that brings to mind vomit and dirty cheese. The walls are painted in unattractive colors reminiscent of urine, and the artwork depicting Mexican stereotypes adds to the gloomy atmosphere. The kitchen often closes early due to a lack of staff, leading to a noticeable decrease in the quality of food following the pandemic. The food now resembles something you might find at a gas station, which is disappointing given the prices. The service is handled by staff who appear visibly frustrated and disheartened, despite being friendly to customers. Overall, dining at this restaurant is quite depressing."

"You can blame the lackluster review on the pandemic, but Bass Bay needs to scale back on tables with the availability of staff. Overall an eh time, here, but probably won 't come back. Food was eh. The Friday Night Fish Fry was a disappointment. It had the taste and texture of freezer to fryer with the claim of hand-dipped beer batter. (I didn 't taste any beer. Cole slaw had the flavor of cabbage and cardboard (in a lil ' tiny plastic cup. Potato pancakes, much the same. Service eh. Our waitress was nice, but it was apparent over worked (too many tables in too many areas . The ambiance was chaotic at best. In the several areas of dining crying kids, a wedding rehearsal (members of the party were vocally upset the Brewers game was not on the TV. Catch... they were yelling and complaining over our shoulders from an open window. When I asked a bartender to change the channel he was bothered that I would ask. As it sounded like there were more important things to do. The lake location was nice, but flies were inside. Probably won 't come back."

"Considering we're still in a pandemic, I was really impressed with our meal the other day. We ordered bagels and a few omelettes, one of which had lox. I was amazed at the generous portion sizes of the eggs, lox, and potatoes. Given the price, it was absolutely worth it. The bagels were huge and incredibly tasty. I was surprised to see someone mention a long wait in a review from two months ago. I think people sometimes forget how challenging it can be for restaurants to maintain quality and service while meeting everyone's preferences. They do an excellent job with a friendly attitude. Delicious!"
