I recently tried to redeem a coupon for three footlongs for $15, only to be told that it could not be applied to chicken or steak sandwiches. While the coupon did mention that certain items were excluded, it did not specify chicken or steak. I understand that not all locations may accept coupons, but if they agree to honor them, they should adhere to the terms stated on the coupon. The worker claimed that they lose money on coupons and chicken and steak sandwiches, but I am not convinced that is the true reason."
