"Absolute perfection! My husband and I dined at Chapel Grille for our 18th Wedding Anniversary. The room we sat in was beautiful! The staff really made our evening special! Our waiter was Constantino and was the best waiter I've ever had! He treated us like royalty, his manners were impeccable! Our cocktails were yummy. I had the clam and lobster chowder which was super delicious with lots of flavor and an abundance of meat! My husband and I both had the filet with bernaise; the 8 oz. it was done to perfection and so, so tender. I asked for medium and that's exactly what they prepared! Lyonnaise potatoes were supurb as well! For dessert, we ordered tirimisu and the olive oil cake with poached pear, canolli cream with pine nuts and they were fabulous! Plus, they brought us a beautiful plate with Happy 18th Anniversary inscribed with chocolate and goodies displayed on the plate. Our desserts were on the house, as Constantino apologized that our dessert was taking longer than usual! Awesome experience! We will definitely be going back!!! I highly recommend this exceptional restaurant!!!"

"Food quality has depleted. Just not the same as it used to be, especially for the prices. More than willing to pay for an excellent meal, but a cheeseburger that comes without the cheese, dry and tasteless mashed potatoes (no butter or anything; like they forgot a step in the recipe), and fishy-tasting walleye that hardly seemed broiled or sautéed just isn’t worth it."

"While mattar’s bistro might be one of the few decent restaurants in the opposite, I would eat at mcdonalds before I would spend another dollar in this facility. mattar is very personal and charming for his mozens, but it is very disturbing how he treats his associates. I've never been more uncomfortable during a meal in my whole life. I do not think it is ever appropriate to punish or humiliate a hired person, but to do it before the customers is cruel and unacceptable."

"Our party of 6 had to wear our coats throughout the meal due to the freezing temperature inside the restaurant. A napkin was placed over the vent in an attempt to block the cold air. We were told that it was due to the building being old. It was a disappointing dining experience with friends, as the food was only average and not worth the price. Another group of 14 nearby also complained about the cold, with one person mentioning they did not pay for a freezing steak. We will not be returning and advise others to learn from our negative experience. The service was the only positive aspect."
