"east coast ingenial. eating here today was one of the best culinary surprises I had for a long time. the decoration of the place is very east coast of fiiliale cut off from ital and randomly with baseball, military and police and fire pics, along with sport toys and the always present picture of tony soprano, al pacino, all the godfather occupation and many other Italian icons scream. many places try to copy this, but it simply comes as a cheesy. this place gives the very authentic feeling. it brings me back to some of my favorite places in baltimore, philly, providence or even north jersey. now the important part that eat. I will first throw out the fact that I didn't try the pizza. I feel like you do that, it's juicy to pass on the dead for the first time when I dive here, but I wanted pasta. I had the fetuciini cosa nostra. this is a wet, thin sauce with fresh tomato-choed, basilikum and garlic. That was so damn good. the basilikum was very forward with hard tastes of the tomatoes and made the garlic subtle and background music, but made it noticeable. it was so good. it could have been made before an hour in my garden. remember that this is not a Tuscan or Sicilian style. this is a new York/New jersey pizza and pasta shopfront. they make a lot of their own ingredients, but it is not artisan inspired cuisine this is just up gravy and makkaroni, which are so hard to find past I-95. I'll update this as soon as I have the pizza. the only change that I would make is the music. You need classic rock on such a location floyd, boston, eddie money or, I dare to say, travel."

"An hour and 40 minutes that’s how long we spent at Old Chicago this evening and not by choice. First, we had a gift card so I made a reservation on Open Table. When we arrived (2 adult, 3 hungry kids , we were informed our reservation just put us on the wait list. They can’t customize the Open Table ap to account for their “no reservations on the weekends” policy so be aware of that. We only ended up waiting about 10 minutes so not bad. Second, we were seated in the back of the restaurant adjacent to the kitchen. Almost immediately we heard someone yelling “We need runners!” A lovely server named Jessie took our order and even shared her purple pen with my six year old who was frustrated (and hungry that there were only yellow and green crayons. Dinner took another 40/50 minutes to arrive during which time we got to hear much more yelling from the kitchen “We have six tickets in the window! I need runners!” My husband has serving experience so he briefly considered volunteering to help out. Jessie kept checking on us politely, smiling through a problem that was obviously not her doing. When our food finally arrived, all the food was there and right except the six year old’s grilled cheese. I don’t know what Jessie did, but it appeared very shortly thereafter. My husband did get his chance to relive his serving days, tracking down the ketchup to go with said six year old’s grilled cheese (she’s really only high maintenance when it comes to crayons and ketchup I promise. My kids devoured every morsel of food on that table and I got to use the gift card. If you go, be prepared for a long wait and pray you get Jessie. Thanks!"
