"So I saw the 1 star reviews and I must say that was not our experience. Everyone seems to agree that the staff is great and indeed they are. And we had a great meal. Someone complained about the salad? Are you kidding? It's a very beautiful salad that comes with your meal. Beets, cheese, chickpeas, little pep, fresh. Two thumbs. We had the eggplant parm and chicken parm. Both were delicious and good size shares that fed the teenager later at home w Leftovers. The chicken was perfectly boiled, crisp coating and delicate ditto the eggplant. The bread was warm, fresh and tasty loved the oil. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. It was so comfortable and relaxing. Treat yourself. Try it. If you have tried it before and for some reason not our great experience, try it again."

"Sitting here and can't get get the bartenders attention bc she's on her phone behind us sitting at a table. Then literally comes back behind the bar, still on her phone, talking on the phone in front of us, while cleaning dishes.....in front of us. She didn't put the phone down for 35 min while serving drinks. I've never seen anything like this. EVER. We're new to the area with a few other couples, for work. We will not be coming here and will make sure anyone we talk to will be told not to either. Service industry has gone down but this is a while nother leve. Someone's way too comfortable."

"Small place for the quality of the meal. Dine-in but you don't get tableside service. I ordered food to go. The flavor of the food was very good though. I had food for party of 4. I got pancakes while the others had fried or steamed fish. Everyone was pleased with their meal. No one ever gives enough syrup, so I recommend griddle cakes only if dining in. Food was prepared relatively quickly for a walk-in, to-go order. Food is on par with any other upscale soul food restaurant. Space and seating could be better though."

"First time at NM, we were promptly seated at our reservation time. Our server Dianne was phenomenal and attentive to us. They have a large menu, as well as numerous daily specials. Next comes the food.... everything we had was great. Steak was cooked to perfection, and portions were plentiful. Prices were fair, I will definitely return."

"This restaurant may not look like much, but the food and service were fantastic! We had heard that the steaks here were delicious, so we had to try it for ourselves, and we were not disappointed. The cuts of steak were juicy and tender. We also tried the calamari, which was thick cut and fresh, not your average pieces. The restaurant is small inside and they accept reservations as well as walk-ins. We thought we would arrive early to avoid the crowds, but even at 4:50 on a Saturday, the place was packed. The wait wasn't too long as they seemed to move people through quickly."

"I ordered from this restaurant today for the first time in 10 years. I had a well-done burger with onion rings and it was a horrible experience. The burger was old and dry, and the bun was extremely hard around the edges. I tried to eat the meat without the bun, but it was too dry to enjoy. The onion rings were okay, but I didn't finish them as they were part of my meal. My wife ordered the Caesar salad, which was also disappointing. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to return the food due to work commitments. Out of all the restaurants in this small town, this was the worst meal we've had to date. We won't be coming back anytime soon and hope that the quality of the food improves in the future."

"I didn't have a good experience at this restaurant. The waitress got my order wrong and the stuffed flounder was terrible. On top of that, they charged me $13 for the salad bar for three people, after I had already spent $23 on my incorrect meal. I was shocked that they charged $20 for a Long Island iced tea. If the food and drink had been good, I would have written a positive review. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place. The food isn't worth the price. I suggest going somewhere else where you know you'll enjoy your meal."

"Living just a block away from Emmons Avenue, I had never noticed this hidden gem of a restaurant nestled around the corner from Momo Hibachi. While I typically tend to avoid brand-new establishments, I decided to take a chance and celebrate my daughter's first birthday at Cipura. The restaurant was quite spacious and inviting, boasting several corners perfect for private dining or hosting parties. I particularly appreciated the dark wood decorations and spotlights that added to the cozy atmosphere. My children were kept entertained, running around and playing between tables. The manager and waitstaff were incredibly friendly and professional, and nearly everything we tried was delicious, with standout dishes including salads, kebabs, and chocolate cake."

"My food was so nasty! I asked for honey hot wings sprinkled with lemon pepper. I got duck sauce wings. Yes! Duck sauce! Duck sauce and honey is not the same flavor at all. The wings wasnt hot. They tasted old. I was charged for lemon peeper sprinkles. The cashier said the wings only come with one flavor any additional is extra) Lemon pepper sprinkles though that's just greed and money hungry. I will NEVER come here again."
