"Second time at Jocelyn's, good authentic Mediterranean food. We sampled a nice selection of appetizers, which were all very good. Mixed drinks were well crafted for my co-diners, my scotch on the rocks was a good pour. Main courses were all huge. The chicken shawarma that two of us had was overcooked and on the dry side, but the leftover tzatziki from the apps kept the plate edible. We visited (two couples) on an early on Sunday night and the place was very crowded. There was a table of 20 nearby that did not effect our service, but probably was the reason for the dry shawarma. All the veggies on the apps and mains were fresh and perfectly ripe. We'll be back."

"The aromas outside the restaurant were divine. The staff was very courteous and accommodating, particularly when we had questions about the menu. The food was amazing. The garlic paste and bread served at the start of the meal could have been a full meal in itself! The hummus was the creamiest I've ever had. The Lamb Chili and Shish Tawook were both fantastic. I would definitely make another trip to Michigan just to dine here again!"

"Never disappointed with this local favorite. Tasty. Healthy. Friendly. Locally owned. So many choices and so good! I am in the Detroit area almost every week of the year and this is my go to for tasty, healthy, and friendly. When I first started going there I was always asking for a Greek Salad. Fortunately the waiter suggested I try the Fattoush salad. I have never gone back to Greek Salad since that fateful day. So many wonderful dishes. I mentioned to the owner that she MUST have won awards for her dishes. No surprise she has!! Our office also uses Cedar Grille for catering lunches at our Troy office. I HIGHLY recommend it. You and your fellow employees will NOT be disappointed. Cedar Grille team THANK YOU for hanging in there during the pandemic. I know it hasn’t been easy. But I am one of the workers who had to keep traveling and working during the pandemic. And you were right there with me. Thank you!!"

"food 5/5 ; prices 4/5 ; portions 5/5 ; service 5/5 ; operation 5/5 the food is great and the garlic paste is the best. you can see the bread cooking fresh and the eating is really well cooked. but they might want to give them some heads if they have more people. the prices are standard, of how $8 $20 for large portion meals. a chicken shawarma plate can feed 2 3 people that is great. the children's dishes are very well portioned, but still a little big, but I think that's okay. the service is fantastic. they are super nice and friendly and really want to meet them. they really want to take care of you like family. one of the workers even became a good friend of mine after he met on a hot day. for the facility I was only after 12 and it is usually (or always) quiet. it has a calmer atmosphere and everyone seems relaxed and not stressed. I've never had a problem here. they take care of their customers and make them feel like home. they never forget their order and treat them the highest respect."

"This was my first time trying Armenian food and it was amazing! The atmosphere is so welcoming and cozy, the food was absolutely delicious and our server was extremely nice and explained each of the meals that interested us. I had the mezza sampler withArmenian spinach, hummus and sarma and my family had the sautéed shrimp and sautéed chicken. "Have always enjoyed Lebanese cuisine since years ago living near the South End where there were several Lebanese restaurants like Red Fez, The Cedars Nadia's in the 1970s. Byblos was good when I dined there as recently as 2013 and I only take issue with the artichoke appetizer which left me practically choking on the spiny leaves. Nothing like my mother's tender stuffed baked artichokes so would definitely avoid those next time."

We arrived at around 7:45 to find the restaurant nearly empty, but we had to wait quite a while for water. To make matters worse, we were informed that they were not serving alcohol due to a temporary issue with their license. This made us consider leaving. The food and service took an unusually long time, and I had expected much better based on my previous experiences. Overall, I was very let down."

"the shouf’s cafe is an amazing restaurant with incredible Lebanese and Mediterranean dining with typical restaurant hours. in the last three years, however, the restaurant is barely open and offers only one delivery even if it is open. the quality of eating and the service has become much worse. when they are open, no one answers the phone. Online orders seem to be switched off regularly. go somewhere else until the owners either decide to get their act back together or close it to the right."

"Eating was okay, but moderate. Overcooked shrimps were hard and chew. The Prime Rib was also hard, even with a steak knife. But generous portions and very fresh salad. Very friendly waiter who has things right. Place was almost empty on a Saturday night. That should have told us something."
