"I decided take my family to this restaurant for Valentine's Day after hearing about how great the shrimp are. We had a reservation, but still had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. Our waiter showed up rather quickly, so I thought that the wait would be worth it. He came back with our drink order and took our appetizer order. After waiting for about 20 minutes, only 2 out of 3 of our appetizers showed up. He brought our salads out (thank God we ordered salad....)but we still had to wait another hour for our dinner entrees to arrive. Our waiter kept apologizing for the slow service from the kitchen, but apparently this is a regular occurrence at this restaurant. I thought that maybe they had just overbooked for the night, but I have seen similar reviews on Facebook from others who had the same experience we did. The food was good, but it was not worth the wait or the price. I will never go back, and will tell everyone about my experience."

"So I saw the 1 star reviews and I must say that was not our experience. Everyone seems to agree that the staff is great and indeed they are. And we had a great meal. Someone complained about the salad? Are you kidding? It's a very beautiful salad that comes with your meal. Beets, cheese, chickpeas, little pep, fresh. Two thumbs. We had the eggplant parm and chicken parm. Both were delicious and good size shares that fed the teenager later at home w Leftovers. The chicken was perfectly boiled, crisp coating and delicate ditto the eggplant. The bread was warm, fresh and tasty loved the oil. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. It was so comfortable and relaxing. Treat yourself. Try it. If you have tried it before and for some reason not our great experience, try it again."

"New York food in Toms River. If you havent tried Jules restaurant your missing out on the gem of toms river better yet ocean county cuisine. Not only do you receive some of the biggest portions i`ve ever been server in a restaurant there is actually great quality behind the food. My first visit was skeptical because when portions are this big the food cant be that good but, IT WAS!!!!!!! and since then me and my wife have been coming back to Jules at least once a week. I dont know how the chefs do it but they are great at what they do every time same taste as the last time. I would like to see a different verity of specials but every time i go no complaints. As stated in the above review i order the antipasto myself and it is HUGE!!!!!!! jerseycityjoe definatly reccomends jules if you want at home style service and food like when you were a kid and gradma was cookin"

"The restaurant is clean and welcoming. It's was fun watching the water birds taking off and landing on the lake that the restaurant is on. The wait staff was friendly and quick. The food was fine, I was little disappointed when the corned beef hash I order was from a can. The daily muffin was delicious. We came in for a Sunday brunch, we where only given the breakfast menu, even though we found that they were serving lunch."

"Delicious! My husband and I came to breakfast and the service was great and the food was so delicious. I got chipped beef and houseries and he got an omelet and houseries. The bread was as soft and chewing as I like it and tasted the vegetables fresh in its omelet. The view was also beautiful. The atmosphere of the café was cozy and warm. We enjoyed the gift shop while we waited for the food. In any case, it would love to stop again if our trips bring us this way!"
