"We have many choices in our area and at this price point, the quality of the food and service should have a high level of attention to detail. I gave one star for several reasons: 1. When our party of four was led to the table, the Hostess did not wait till we were seated to hand us each a menu she threw the menus in the middle of the table and walked away. 2. Then, another Server came by and placed all bread, parm, oil and olives on top of the menus, we had to remove all this to get to the menus. 3. Our Server was great he said he was new, but was knowledgeable about the menu items, courteous, and friendly (he should get 5 stars). 4. Our food was sub par. In particular, the spicy red sauce was too spicy (uneatable) and the pasta was undercooked. The appetizer bruschetta was tasteless tomatoes, no garlic and topped with huge globs of fresh mozzarella. We have dined here in the past, with less than stellar food and service. But, others have rated it so well, we thought we 'd return for another try. We still love the atmosphere, decor and intimate feeling of this restaurant. Again, so many choices in our area non of us would recommend this venue. We won 't be coming back."
