"simply order dinner for my family online very expensive. we ordered a speciality burger when we came home, we found that it had nothing of it and was not able to eat. brought burger back for toppings and management / owners gave us so much a hard time over the toppings salat tomaten mayo. there was always about the toppings not coming to the burger and online order is new and should not have offered the toppings salat and tomaten. We have decided to ask for a refund on such a chaos. on the burger. manager starts complaining about a head of salat is $4 in the business I think that meant that I was not able to get a piece of salat on a $14.00 burger all due to the online site inaccurate. I've never seen anything like that in my whole life. all my years of service customers they are to calm them, please the customers. that was not important this time. not sure why that was a problem? Maybe because I was when you know what's mean! I think honestly, this is sad! dear manager/owner I am a hardworking man who works 2 jobs to feed and supply my family and I have to go through this."

"Beautiful restaurant by the lake with a fast friendly service. Seats can be inside or outside and when we went, they even had live entertainment. I had Canadian salmon that was not too bad (a little on the Bland side for my taste) and my husband had the ahi tuna that was really good. We both had the salt potatoes, a localized specialty and tasted amazing! The salads were good and had contained a variety of fresh vegetables."

"There were 9 of us for a birthday party. We sat at a large table on a private deck overlooking the beach and the sea. It could not have been better than the sun set and moon rose. Dena was our dedicated server and was top notch. General drinks and great seafood and steaks were perfectly prepared and delicious. A good selection of deserts has been provided. The check was comparable to fine food in a metro area, but a bit pricy for Maine. A great experience as a whole."

"I was with 5 other women together on 1. Friday every month in one of our houses. I live an hour from the rest, so I decided to have my turn in the chateau. We enjoyed cocktails and many appetizers. "Worse mail ever..started with a cosmo served in a oz. Martini glass filled to almost an inch from top for we tried an appetizer special .Short ribs pretzel bites..Disgusting!! Deep fried pretzel pieces served in a stuck together mound of cheese..Complained about cosmo..got a new one this time totally different color filled again well short of full. At this point asked for mgr...never came over to us. Next main courses came salmon dish was ok..but NE Haddock was terrible way overcooked, dry and sweet potatoes were cold. The presentation was laughable, served on a plain white plate.. its quite obvious this restaurant is badly in need of new management, new chef and knowledgeable bartenders.All this. "this is the kind of place to love eating on seafood eater and veg*ns will be mystified as why. I think I am biased, I don't like seafood restaurants where the sweet food tends to be overpriced, uninspired and weakly fishy. I had the Kale salad and some of it was yellow. I was there with a group and didn't pick it up, but it's definitely not a place where I'd dress happy ****. it is a little sad cuh honest. Sure, there are several salads that they can delete enough ingredients until they are vegan, but just a stone throw away from green elephant. if they say something in the thing, they go somewhere else!"

"3 stars because it is my go-to restaurant and the food was excellent as usual. But I requested a more secluded outdoor table than the one I got (and there were ideal ones empty for our entire stay which made my unfulfilled request even more frustrating). It was loud at our table and the AC above one of the restaurant doors was dripping which was splashing on us (even after the waitress and I moved the table as much as we could away from the drip). Wind was worse than forecasted and although that is not the restaurant's fault, had we been at one of the more secluded tables they offer better sound and wind protection than the table they sat us at. I'll go there again for sure (the food IS excellent) but may stick to takeout next time!"

"This restaurant is perfect in every way. Its setting is second to none. The atmosphere is cozy and historic, with a view that is modern-day-breathtaking. "Love the ambience. Eating is a strong point, but not an upright Bonafide-Platten-Mover imo. It is the combination of the look and decor and also the family atmosphere with above average Italian food that really wants me back. I mean, they offer good Italian bread as an appetizer. Not many places that are not mum and pop, do that more. And the chicken parm I ate was very good. I also have acidic reflux and my stomach is super picky about which acid it settles. Some retail brands don't do that. And it's done in the house."

"Great Italian and seafood. Their pizza is one of the best around. They have a great tasting pizza dough that cooks up with a nice crispy crust. The meatballs are excellent and you can get them as an appetizer. They have a full menu selection and I can’t say I’ve ever had a bad meal there. If you need gluten free, you’re in luck, they have gluten free pasta that’s very good. The prices are very reasonable. During busy times there’s rarely more than 15 minute wait which is excellent for this area. They also offer a large takeout menu for pickup and delivery Uber eats, Grubhub, etc. . They also have a great takeout order app that tracks your order and lets you know when the order is ready and when it was picked up."

"Beware showing up on Friday evening if you are not a familiar friend of the place. My kids and I were told 15 minutes when we arrived even though we had an open table reservation. A number of people showed up after us and were welcomed with a pat on the back. After 15 minutes we were told another 15 while new arrivals were walked to their tables. I had words with the host but he couldn't care less."

"I would recommend McGuirk to anyone who ever asked where to eat at Hampton Beach. We went for lunch and had the Baked Stuffed Haddock. It was the best I cost for a long time. We had such a good lunch that we came to dinner the night. For dinner we had the summer salad with Lobster and the Clam Chowder. Everything was super boiled, perfectly seasoned and looked amazing.
