"My wife and myself were at Latin American Restaurant in Boonton, NJ. We are from out of town looking for home cooking, let me tell you, this was the most delicious food we've had since we've been here. The restaurant is clean and the owner stayed and talked to us for a long while. I had the steak smothered with onions, salad, white rice, black beans and maduros(sweet plantains). You get large portions, my wife took her left overs to the hotel for later. My wife is a very picky eater and she loved everything that was served. The staff was great and we felt very comfortable taking our time with our dinner. We surely will be back before we go home and will recommend this restaurant to our friends and family."
