"Went there today and ordered 4 orders. Spent a total of about $55. Get home to find barely any ice cream in the waffle bowls and a waffle bowl not even full or intact. I also ordered chocolate fudge as a topping to one of my other orders and it was never added. I?m never going here again. The staff is also rude. I was standing there waiting to order for a while and when someone finally came to the cash register, she took the order of another customer that came after to me. I also overheard the customer ask the cashier if he could change his flavor and the cashier said ?I already put it in the system? I?m sorry what?!?!? You can?t just literally change the flavor you?re about to put in the cup or cone? Eggers you really need to do better. Your prices are overpriced so I would expect the quality of your ice cream and customer service to be above and beyond. Very disappointed."

"I was there at 2pm for lunch. My friend and I waited about 10 minutes for a table to open up. Both the food and the service were awesome. For those reasons, lunch time (until 3pm) was really busy. Highly recommended!"

"I had one of the best meals of my life at the MacCallum House. We had our dog with us so we ate dinner on their heated veranda. It was a foggy, somewhat chilly night at the end of summer but the food made up for any discomfort. I enjoyed a wonderful gem salad with roasted herbed hazelnuts, flatbread and cheese while my husband enjoyed the special albondigas soup, along with a lovely glass of a delicious Savignon Blanc that we both loved. Our main course was the chef's special of pan seared scallops over a bed of creamed and crispy corn with bacon and, if I correctly remember, mushrooms. Every bite was scrumptious and I didn't need dessert but my husband ordered the chocolate pudding with a hazelnut fudge bottom while I got a pistachio biscotti with vanilla ice cream. With this, we both ordered decafs and it was the richest, best cup of decaf that I've ever had. This meal was definitely a splurge but worth every cent because I know I'll never forget it."

"I have always enjoyed dinners and lunch at Mesh, but found the brunch disappointing. The breading on the fried green tomatoes was mushy and too thick. The embellishments were a bit overwhelming too many flavors that overpowered the tomato. Burrito was so-so with more wrap than filling. Waffles and chicken had too much overly sweet syrup (at least put the syrup on the side the amount of syrup should be a personal choice) and chicken was more breading than chicken. Eggs Benedict again too many flavors and though I chose to add the lobster it was seriously overpowered. English muffin was not toasty, but soggy. I'm answering no to the question about recommending Mesh to a friend because I would not recommend it for brunch, but for other meals"

"If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. This small middle eastern cafe style restaurant sits hidden in an unassuming street of the city. I practically had to walk up to see it, but once inside, the cozy decor and friendly staff made me feel right at home. I stopped by hummus kitchen half starved on the day of a snowstorm. The waitress, a friendly young vegan woman, rushed to bring me water and a cup of hot spiced cider to warm me up. The menu is an interactive affair presented on an iPad. It has a large variety of Turkish-style dishes. Vegan dishes are clearly labeled. For $17 one picks 3 dishes, such as hummus, babaganoush, falafel, etc and they come in generous portion with an amazing whole wheat pita bread that melts in your mouth. I mentioned I was half starved, so I ordered 6 dishes and could obviously not finish them (Leftovers for dinner were almost as good as lunch). The waitress, who was incredibly sweet and attentive throughout—recommending dishes, asking if I was enjoying the food or needed anything else—recommended this raspberry and coconut cream dessert. However, I was pretty full and am not a big fan of fruit compote type things, so I declined and asked for the check. As I was signing a young man, who I take to be the owner or manager, kindly asked me if I had three minutes to spare. When I replied that I did, he brought me out a dessert he said he wanted me to try. This was a generous portion of the most amazing chocolate mousse—all vegan—I have had in my life. It was topped with whipped cream and shredded coconut flakes. Pure ambrosia! My only regret: discovering this place on my last day in New York City. Absolutely amazing! Just the service makes it worth it. Highly recommend."

"Almost empty Sunday afternoon. Great menu, many options! Burgers fries (all different selections) got Rave reviews from our family. My disappointment came from Combo Fajitas, the gland lacked the right spice and really greasy - fluctuating in oil, paprika onions cut too thick, so not caramelized correctly. I didn't eat to be a killjoy anyway, but I didn't sit well with me later. The place is very attractive inside and huge! The big sign almost didn't want me in! It is very sunny bleached and weathered give a glimpse of the place - completely incompatible with the actual restaurant, but they really need to replace the sign. Looks like a roadside dive in view of the proximity to lower hotels, etc."

"Placed an order for one salad. Came 30 mins after placing and it still wasn't ready. Waited another 10 minutes after arriving. They had one girl working carryout and she was trying but overwhelmed. She yelled at the kitchen 4 times for my salad. I felt bad for her and tipped well. They just need more help like ever where else."

"The home fries lacked seasoning and resembled hashbrowns, while the scrambled eggs were bland and resembled an omelette. It was unclear what the restaurant was trying to achieve with these dishes."

"So we’ve been coming here for quite some time. It’s a nice Coney Island and the food is really good! But, yesterday was exceptional! My partner ordered a chicken fajita wrap and the waitress misheard him (it does get loud in there with all the guests) but, brought him a grilled chicken pita. My partner was nervous to return it cause we don’t like to do that. But the waitress (don’t know her name but she’s slender, blonde hair wears a few gold necklaces) was super cool and apologized and made it correct. On top of that when we were leaving she brought over a free dessert to go, which was really tasty! I’m posting because I should have posted awhile ago! We always have great service and the food, like I said Is really good! The chicken noodle soup is some of the best I’ve had, better than “fancier” restaurants! We will be coming here again and again!"

"It's always fun to dine at Max's in Burlingame. Food is good. Food presentation could be improved. For example no garnishes on the plate. You used to give out pickles with your patty melt sandwich. But apparently no more. We love the pickles in the past. Also wish you have paper dinner napkins. I think"

"Seemed liked a nice dinner and hours are convenient 24/7. No idea what the food is like, must be good they had a large party and lots of Togo orders. I waited half an hour to get served and finally left, I have two stars for service because the guy who seated me said sorry as I left, it interrupted his conversation at the bar with another employee so that was at least some form of acknowledgement. I'll take my business elsewhere seems they have enough they can literally watch customers walk out the door."

"Visit this cafe during my birthday vacation... At one of the best places to eat breakfast and they have mimosas?? absolutely loved the service and the food. My personal experience is to pay attention to where u-park, because I don't and dragged our rent in the middle of breakfast???"

"Overall, we had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The service provided by Anna was exceptional, surpassing even the food itself. We all enjoyed the atmosphere, the staff, and the dishes, with the exception of the homefries potatoes that came with breakfast. Unfortunately, none of us in our group of five enjoyed the potatoes, and even my dog refused to eat them."

"We always have a wonderful time at WeHo Bistro. The food is consistently tasty and the service is excellent. The vegan choices are amazing. The outdoor seating areas are beautifully illuminated and provide a sense of privacy. I highly recommend this restaurant."

"There was a waiting time for a table at the weekend so the locals must enjoy this place. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. My only disappointment was that my chicken was on the hard side. It had decent taste and the part was on the larger side of expectation. The burger of my friend looked like the better choice and he enjoyed it. Will probably be back in this area and give him another chance."

"Will never go here again.. They have a policy to not seat you unless everyone in your party is there.. despite there being PLENTY of empty tables, service was not good, they forgot items, salad was terrible, quesadilla was good. Too bad, the backyard was cute."
