"However, the food somewhat salvaged the experience. The portions were generous and quite delicious. My girlfriend loved her BLT, and I enjoyed my Texas Cheeseburger, even though the bottom was a bit soggy. The mozzarella cheese sticks were also enjoyable and I would recommend them. That said, be prepared for a hefty bill—most dishes come in at $15 or more, and my Texas Cheeseburger was the most egregious example. I was charged an extra dollar for cheese, which I assumed was included, and an additional $4 for bacon. My server didn’t inform me of those costs, and they weren’t specified on the menu. This feels like a serious markup. I would suggest avoiding this place if you’re looking for burgers, or even their dinner plates, which can end up costing $20 or more, sometimes even in the $30 range. It simply isn’t worth it for a restaurant that doesn’t seem to prioritize its presentation."

"Food? Great! Service? Meh!. The décor is sort of 80 's and they have big fish tanks filled with live edible fish and lobsters. They also have a bar!<br/ I have no problems with the portion sizes of the prices at Purple Dot Café. The food is pretty darn good and I like that they didn 't waste my time with a whole lot of filler onions and celery with my Pepper Chicken dish. <br/ The BBQ duck noodle soup was really good. I loved the broth and the noodles but the duck could have been de-boned. The custard pies were a nice touch but, I probably wouldn 't have got them if I knew how much the cost.<br/ The service could have been friendlier. <br/ No 'hello ' or 'thank you ' but I 've encountered that before in Asian restaurants I 've been in. <br/ (Pictures are posted of my visit to Purple Dot Café."

"This place was amazing back around the time it opened. It was so good and well priced they had to expand. I stopped by here 8 years later, and it pretty much sucks. I got the beef smother burrito I used to get, and the beef was dry, pasty, tasteless, it had a ton of rice inside and outside the burrito. using cheap rice to fill up the plate, and prices are over double what they used to be. understandable of course. It probably has a new owner or something, but it's sad to see the place lose it's magic. You could get super fresh and delicious food, and enough to fill you up for $8. I used to eat here twice a day."

"Yeah, five stars. I usually try to find a way to not give 5 because there is always room for improvement, right? Not here. We have been driving for years and have always gone as couples or couples and sat at the bar or bar area. Bartender is AWESOME. Best. Love him! Eat always great. This trip we celebrated daughters today! WAS A SPECTACULAR TIME! Chef was great and the food.... Fantastic! The staff was also excessively accommodating! So beautiful to be professionally treated as somewhere along 2020 some businesses lost their customer service.... Stop it, Wasabi!!!! Thank you."

"Ordered take out. This place isn't bargain, drive thru cr@p, but worth the extra scratch. Ordered Pho and club sandwich with the house potato chips. Both were great and enough leftover for another lunch. We have also dined in and had to wait 20 minutes to get a table, totally worth the wait!Kid-friendliness: Lots of TVs with sports and several playing Red Bull TV with interesting video. Kid friendly for kids from 8 or 9 on up, little kids might get bored, but that's what mom's cell phone is for, right?"

"let me start with i love billy strings. this review has nothing to do with the musician and everything to do with the venue. I've been tracking billy strings since 2016, and when I heard he plays in vegas, well, we bought tix to see him in brooklyn bowl. the show has been sold out and well earned for billy and band, but perhaps Brooklyn bowl sold more tickets than it is equipped to accommodate?. if they like the feeling of becoming a sardine in, then that is the place for them! it seemed enough bars and toilets to be, but the ga space was hot and a constant shoulder bumping fight of the room. billy was amazing, but Brooklynn bowl was more interested in ticket sales and it made the night a disappointing weekend. how much more per ticket would bb want before they could offer a beautiful venue?"

"A local boba tea establishment in my neighborhood also has lots of other kinds of sweet treats and goodies. I had the coconut milk which was completely delicious; really strong coconut taste with icy slush to complement it. My wife had the green tea ice cream which was also very good. Usually this place is packed with lots of schoolkids from the area. On this day they were not as busy so we were afforded much time to enjoy the ambiance. They also offered us hot tea in addition to what we ordered. Will definitely go back for the coconut milk if not something else on the menu."

I don't really like to write this review, but I had such a good experience that other people wanted to know that they should try this place. They'll make it cool when you say eggs are my Fave!
