"We were excited to enjoy Christmas Eve dinner again here at Lago as we did last year and it did not disappoint! Although their holiday menu was the exact replica of last years menu for $75.00 per person, this year it was $90.00 per person ouch! The food was amazing and Nick always makes you feel welcomed. Amelia and the staff gave us excellent and attentive service. We will definitely be back."

"The food was fabulous and the atmosphere was a little bit noisy, but now annoying. Would absolutely return and enjoy another meal. The service was prompt and pleasant. The greeters were welcoming when we came in the door and thanked us as we left"

"The service was excellent! I was disappointed with the blandness of the food. Definitely not what i was expecting. My husband had the pork chop which was cooked perfectly but he said it had no flavor. I had the sole and it was very bland. The calamari was so so definitely some frozen kind. I was so surprised of the taste of the marinara dipping sauce. It was not tasty at all. Definitely some cheap jar kind and not authentic Italian. I didn’t know they were running a summer special so our entree was 1/2 off which was nice. I had a limoncello martini which was very overpriced at 17.00. I know that’s close to the going rate for a signature drink but it wasn’t anything special. The discount on the entree made it worth it."

"it was my birthday. we were first diner in limoncello and our server was very friendly and brought a piece of delicious tiramisu, free, to birthday. eating was very good. we're coming back!"

"We were able to make easy reservations and were seated immediately upon arrival. The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. My only preference would have been for the steak to be aged for 30-45 days rather than the 21 days it was aged for."

"I’m so sad that the old Piattis sold out. The food was terrible no awful. We ordered simple things salads chicken dishes. Half arrived cold but wasn’t worth eating. They’ve redone the interior to be a high table bar environment. The service was as well. So slow and awkward. The bathroom has a terrible sewer issue and stinks. They might as well be Hooters without the girls. So sad old Piattis is entirely gone. I won’t go back ever."

"The food was outstanding. The salmon was so tasty I kind of regretted not ordering it for myself. But the steak I did order was perfect. It was a bit too quiet, though we were there early (6 PM reservation) because we had tickets to a show at The Ahmanson. Maybe it picks up a bit later. Our server was friendly and attentive. The cocktail list was a bit basic so we decided to just do wine. The wine list was fine. I ordered the Franciscan Cabernet Savignon which was served in a white wine glass. That was a bit off putting but the wine was fine. My companion ordered the Whispering Angel rosé and was pleased. Overall it was a nice experience. Would 've been better if the atmosphere was a bit livelier and my wine had been served in the proper glassware."
