"I went to city market for lunch and got food at a middle eastern restaurant and dessert at a cookie stand. The falafel wrap and fries I got from the middle eastern restaurant were amazing. The cookies were great too. City market had plenty of options and lots of seating. Some of the stands were empty, though. And the inside is just very dated in general. A lot of things just need a small update. You can tell you're in a building that's seen better days, that all it is. Not sure about parking. Extremely easy access from the cultural trail bike path and from the IndyGo Redline (transit center stop). It's downtown so walking there is easy if you're close by. This place has seen better days. However it's still got a lot of great options and it's still worth a visit for lunch!"

"So I’m giving this a five star review not because the food was five star necessarily, but… OK it’s kind a like this, when you go to McDonald’s the food is fantastic because, well, it’s McDonald’s. You don’t expect anything exceptional they just do “that” well. So I went into big egg not knowing what to expect, but when I walked in to pick up my order and saw the place… It’s old! I kind of figured what to expect. Solid food. A little pricey ? , and after a 30+ mile bike ride… It was fantastic! Even the sliced canned mushrooms and petite diced canned, drained tomatoes tasted fantastic after that long ride. We’ll be back."

"Great food! Great service! Good place to watch a game. If you order breadsticks, or anything for that matter, ask for some 'blessing '. It 's an olive oil based dipping sauce. The seasoning is 'heavenly ' Just delicious. Great on the breadsticks as an addition to the usual marinara that already comes with them!"

"I ordered the Patriot Burger, and it was as good as any burger I’ve had anywhere, and believe me, I’ve been to a lot of places! It was DELICIOUS! The best burger we’ve had in a long time. The patties were juicy and packed with flavor, with no fillers in sight. The fresh toppings were perfectly seasoned, and the buns were lightly toasted on the inside, creating a soft exterior and a crisp interior before you reach the juicy meat and fresh veggies. It looked amazing too—almost too pretty to eat! My wife and I were absolutely delighted with the burgers. The fries were seasoned just right and served at the perfect temperature. They were deliciously crispy on the outside with the ideal texture on the inside—not too thick or too thin—and they had a melt-in-your-mouth quality. You simply must try their southwestern egg rolls! The portion is hearty, and the taste is incredible. My wife found the southwestern sauce had a bit of a kick (since she doesn’t usually enjoy spicy food), but she still devoured them. If you prefer something milder (the spice level is honestly low), you can always opt for ranch dressing instead. Both options are VERY GOOD. The service was prompt, friendly, and engaging. We genuinely enjoyed interacting with the staff. We were pleasantly surprised by the prices, which are quite reasonable given the high quality of food in comparison to other local options—about one-third the price but much better quality! As for the atmosphere, it definitely has a dive bar vibe. We went in at 5 PM on a Monday when it was relatively quiet, so I can't comment on how it feels during busier times, but it could benefit from a little aesthetic upgrade. There was a slight smell of cigarette smoke while we were there—not overpowering and possibly from a nearby source rather than inside the restaurant. I’m sensitive to smoke, but it wasn’t strong enough to bother me. Food is available for takeout, and it took about 12-15 minutes after we ordered to receive our meal, which gave us time to browse a nearby antique shop. It surprised me to learn that this restaurant has been around for 30 years; how had I never noticed it before? Now that I've discovered it, I’ll be sure to spread the word and return with friends!"
