"So this is long over do but it’s been on my mind. I attended portage park middle school for a few years when I was younger. On my route home I would always pass this place with curiosity. Growing up we didn’t have much food at home so we would do what we could. I will never forget walking in here asking for food with my brother and was given a meal by an employee. I believe we went back a few more times and still were graciously fed. I don’t know who it was or even if it was the owners but I want to say THANK YOU years later to the person who fed two little kids!"

"This is a HUGE restaurant within walking distance of the Lock 3 and the Akron Civic Theater in Akron. It is a GREAT place to eat before a show or concert. They have a good menu and very reasonable prices. They had a special on Friday of Fish and Chips for only $12 and a Long Island Ice tea for only $4. You can't beat that! The food and drinks were very good and the portion for food was HUGE. The server was friendly, polite and thorough, but the service was a little but slow. They were crowded. We were delighted and we will return."
