"The wife and I came here for a Yelp event, so this was the first time visiting. Acadian Grille Dundee has Southern influence, which is noticeable in the cuisine. The manager, Tim, was very gracious, as well friendly. He came by our table and explained some of the food to us, as well as the menu options. Kith Kin is rebranding into Acadian Grille Dundee. We sampled the following items: catfish po' boy, shrimp po' boy, shrimp and grits, jambalaya, and bread pudding paired with ice cream. The catfish po' boy was tasty, but spicy. Too spicy for me, as it lingered longer after I finished eating it. The shrimp po' boy was much better, mild in comparison. Next was the shrimp and grits, which by far was my favorite. It had plenty of shrimp, which were large and tasty. Jambalaya was served next, which was a bit spicier than the shrimp and grits, but still pleasant, with the mac cheese to end the entrees. To end all the food, bread pudding and ice cream (yum! for dessert. Atmosphere: The place was inviting, with the live jazz music mingling nicely with our dinner. It was very pleasant and reminded me of Chaz on the Plaza in Kansas City, MO, which also features live music, and this captured a lot of that feel. We enjoyed our visit here very much. Dundee has been on our list to visit again, so this made a nice way to come back and see what is available in the area. In all, we will likely be back, because it was just a wonderful experience."
