"This was my second trip to POC in a fairly short period, and it was still very good! This year it was a good number of years since I was there, and there were some problems that need to rectify. POC seems to have been through very much. Here in South Florida, with a huge proliferation of sushi facilities even buffets that proliferate over the landscape, you really need to do something to survive. POC, in Weston, does. They do not have the greatest selection of offers on their buffet in contrast to say a Shinju, whose rooms tend to be larger, but they compete very well on the quality of their offers. And again, while this quality is not what a traditional sushi restaurant could offer, it does not show badly compared and it is a buffet*. All these options are very well thought out, from * good* quality ingredients, and kept beautifully fresh in the turnaround. I am a fan of their Sashimi offerings, with a balsamic marinated whitefish that is simply delightful and pepper crucified cuts of salmon and tuna that could easily contain my entire meal if I allowed. On her hot bar, I am a huge fan of meat cuts that she can bring, what you might surprise, unless you know that the demographic Weston site has a marked (and well peeled Latin American flavor. In particular, the small cuts of steak that they offer, along with the grilled sausage, are a really beautiful counterpoint to sushi if you want a small lawn with your surfing. The last element I will mention is the service. All servers in the facility are very attentive and there was never a problem that our drinks were properly filled and kept fresh, or used dishes were removed. I went away from both visits that were impressed by the work ethics and joyfully good humor that had fun playing along. If I could eat so much!"
