"Needed to look for something quick and cheap and I def found the spot! Second diner I’ve ever been to in NYC I liked it. The grilled chicken Caesar wrap was a bit bland to me but the waffle fries REALLY GOOD FOUNTAIN SODA (had to capitalize the letters since fountain soda usually sucks anywhere you order from) def. made up for it and my waitress had a bit of a weird attitude with my table and another I saw before leaving. I loved the vintage decor to the diner the bar looked stack which was nice to see."

"not a good culinary experience in any case. the only reason why I would give this place even 2 stars for our “fine dining room” experience is because our server michele was wonderful and the desserts were very good. we arrived early and had checked early, and they had said it would have been a few minutes, 20 minutes later our reservation time came and then no text after we had waited for an extended 15 minutes after our scheduled reservation time. after going and mentioning they had not given us a reason why, then we sat up on the balcony from which we were receptive until we had waited 20 minutes. we then had to get up to tell the hostess that we were not even greeted or even given by a hostessin/hotsin water/bread. the host/hostess gave no reason why others say: "oh their server may not have seen them" when we returned outside our seats, our server michele came by and she was very apologetic and had let us know that nobody made them aware that we were even there. for a fine dining room with higher trips the customer service was extremely lacking and eating was bland, meals were also small, especially in comparison to how large the desserts were. I think, above all, I am very disappointed and annoyed that no one (manager/head boss/hossins) has come to apologize or try to correct their mistakes by perhaps desserting or compposing our drinks. we will definitely not be back or recommend this facility. very excited for our night from fine eating on holiday that this was our experience. we understand that the world is short-occupied, but it lacked communication and accountability for such a high-priced/valued facility. this could have been easily avoided or at least put on."

"We had a wonderful relaxed ladies lunch, however the food was very disappointing. The southwest salad plate was filled with a handful of mixed spring greens topped with corn, beans and texmex cheese. None of the greens were bite size and were soggy with dressing. Chix club sandwich was just a breast overcooked and dried out between roll halves with lettuce on side. Chix quesidilla also came with dried out chix. At least there was guacamole to help. No complaints on the fish and chips."

"5/5 started in the city for Buku with some friends from Texas. Our Air BNB happened nearby and our host recommended banks St. Bar. First, I'll start with the staff... Everything very friendly and welcoming made us feel that we were back home. Drinks were also really well made! Second, customers... The regulars that came were also very cool and welcoming, many variety each was so free mental and simply inviting. Had a really nice time to meet the employees and customers! Third, the location... location is perfect, nearby, a few restaurants, also from a barbershop, can definitely not beat. I will definitely come back to revise banks! Very recommended! Becca, Mya, Mikayla and Kerian were fantastic bar employees!"

"Fantastic! My wife and I ordered the chicken fried steak dinner and the chicken strip dinner. Everything was cooked perfectly. Phenomenal service and very punctual on delivering. I feel like the pricing was great too. I had to call the manager and give my compliments. Thank you to all the staff for an excellent meal. "I recommend driving past this establishment. Pizza special 2 slices and soda $6.50 good deal for poor quality pizza. Reselling bottles of a six pack bought at other places, which is wrong and not right to do in business. Now the pizza nothing to really say upside down slices are worse out there, sauce taste bad, cheese barely any and the dough had some crispy to it but no real taste to it. Was like eating toast period. 4.3 on the pizza and the inside needs to be cleaned and not have the modeling look going to it. Save your time and pass by..."

"Service was great, tables very close and we were stuck next to a very loud table but this is not the fault of the restaurant. View of the marina is limited except for a few tables, but it was a beautiful relaxing evening that was captured by a cool live music as soon as it became dark. Anyway, it's going again!"
