"Breakfast was very good, plentiful and filling. They need to adjust the air conditioning in there. We overheard people complaining amongst themselves because ice cold air was blowing on them. The outside temperature was only 72. There is only one small bathroom and it’s located a couple of feet from the kitchen through a tiny isle way. The place was packed. They don’t take credit cards which wasn’t a deal breaker but we probably won’t be going back. We can now say we’ve experienced the famous Kates Kitchen."

"We had such a fun day here. Highly recommend it. It was a nice, relaxed vibe and appropriate for folks of all ages. We saw little kids and the elderly. A nice diverse mix of people, which we appreciate. We will happily become regulars."

"I had dinner at this restaurant a few years ago and have not returned since. The bartender was poorly trained and mistakenly shook my martini after making a margarita, which resulted in a terrible taste. It is important to clean the shaker between drinks. The food was a bit overpriced for the outdated atmosphere, but it was still good. The hush puppies were the best I have ever had."

"Local watering hole and gambling make the atmosphere comfortable yet the homeless rif raf are a drag. They make getting in the door a drag unless u want to open your pocketbook while lifting your skirts off the ground to keep from smelling like the local surrounding beggars. If u can make it past the door things are smooth sailing. Just be careful on your way out.... sometimes it can be a little rough for the more faint at heart."
