"The first time to eat here for lunch on a perfect day. All employees were super friendly and our server was so attentive and helpful. She was perfect as she knew when she was over and checked us and how to make sure everything was just right for our satisfaction. My wife and I had filled the crab mushrooms with Cajun sauce as an appetizer and roared flounder as an entree. I have never had such an ingenious appetizer as the filled mushrooms; I could have eaten for lunch! The flounder was fresh as if he was caught that morning, and the wort and the rupture was something nobody can compete with. I had a cup of gumbo. Our server said it was the next thing she ever had to her grandmothers and believe me it tasted like a grandmother made it with love! It was in such a light red Roux and just seasoned with enough spicy heat that I had it in competition with one of the rubber sticks I had in New Orleans. My wife had a frozen strawberry Margarita, which was one of the best we've ever tried. It was sweet from sweet strawberries and had no artificial taste. They blended it perfectly with super fine ice beads and I had a perfect old fashioned mixed perfectly. I think five stars are too few for this place!"

"My husband called in a lunch order for late Saturday afternoon for me to pick up on my way back from running errands. He got a sandwich and I got the Milano wrap. I'm gluten free and they were able to replace the traditional wrap with romaine lettuce, at their suggestion. I figured it would probably fall apart and be eaten as a salad (which I'm 100% okay with). To my delight the romaine stayed pretty darn tightly packed and I was indeed able to eat my meal as a wrap. The milano is chicken, mozzarella, roasted red peppers, and balsamic. Everything was delicious especially the mozzarella which was very fresh. Our two meals came out to just under $21 which was very reasonable. We will certainly be back to this deli for our lunch needs. Next up is to try breakfast."

"After many negative reviews I have read from this place, I was skeptical. But I have such a pleasant place in my heart for NOLA and saw a show next door, I had to let her run and very happy I did! Bomb Happy Hour and food, drinks and service are all legit. I had 3 courses to try so many things. The gum is good, not great, but very good. Everyone knows that the secret for a boy is bread. Bob's very good again, not great. After this 2 I had a small order of NOLA-style grill shrimps. They were great!!! For NOLA style in Denver, this place makes it all very good. It would be good at Poydras or Bienville, but it's GREAT in downtown Denver!"
