"Even though this is not the 3 star restaurant, we were thoroughly impressed with the quality of the fish used for sushi. It is on par with many of the Michelin star sushi restaurants in Japan, Asia, and the US. The flexibility was also appreciated one diner can have omakase while the other one have a la carte. The menu is quite extensive for a bar restaurant, with many fund dishes like pasta made from shrimp and fish. The flavors of the dishes were all well balanced. The only disappointment was the Peking duck taco. We were expecting the skin to be close to that of traditional Peking duck. While crispy, the skin had no taste. They were generous with caviar and uni in many of the dishes. Uni was excellent. Caviar was so so. Bar seating does not overlook sushi chef, just bartenders. We were happy with our table."

I have been very disappointed with all our other local dinners lately and nearly forgot about acropolis (moved away for a few years) they are by far the best diner in town great food great people I go nearly every morning. I would have given 5 stars for atmosphere but one of their longest working servers tends to walk around causing problems with the other servers and complaining about the owners right in front of customers and it makes me uncomfortable. Everyone else is happy and great at their jobs and love the owners. Would not return to this location. The manager also did not apologize for the situation. Waitress was great, very polite and helpful. First and last time going to this location. "Very disorganized staff. Stood at front for about 5 minutes before anyone was acknowledged (myself and probably 5 others). Two employees had to decide who was going to be our host(ess). When they figured it out, the host took me to my table and said I 've got the breakfast menu here for you. Is that okay? Umm? it 's like 1pm, dude. No, it 's not okay. An older guy likes to just come out of the kitchen and stand, staring at customers like a stalker (not like a typical manager would do). One woman asked another if she wanted help and the second woman said I 'M BUSY! , but refused help. Salad was swimming in dressing. Lunch entree (pastichio) wasn 't bad. A little different than what I 'm used to, but that 's why I ordered it. The set of silverware across the table from me had not been washed properly. Still had something on them. The flap on the sugar jar thing for coffee doesn 't close, so at night, their bugs (I 'd be willing to bet they have bugs) probably have a blast in there. Biggest problem was the bread that the server brought me. Underneath the bread, inside the coffee filter with the bread, was someone else 's balled up straw wrappers! Like I started to butter my bread and saw it and thought to myself I don 't remember putting my straw wrapper in there. Nope, mine was still on the table. If it wasn 't for someone else 's dirty dish being used for my food, I 'd probably give this place 3 stars."

"You have the US RAW CHICKEN! Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience here. My hamburger came with blood that soaked the rolls and pommes (see my plate above in the picture). I was adult, but I tried to eat some bites, there's a $21 burger. I decided I was done when my daughter mentioned in the law that her chicken was raw. RAW!!! My 9-year-old son had also ordered the chicken and ended a whole chicken tender before we notice that his was raw, too. The manager then refunded the chicken and burger 50% of the rest of our meal. I feel honest as if she had refunded the whole meal, as we all lost our appetites. The manager said the cook was new. GREAT, glad he cooked my food. I think that is unacceptable. I'll never go back!"
