"Excellent services. We were a party of 16 adults and 2 children, our main waiter Ben was professional, considerate, expedient and efficient. The other two staff were also very helpful. This is a restaurant in general is casual and family oriented. The food was delicious, some of our favorites were the hot Nashville chicken, it was tender, crispy the right amount of spice. The corn bread was delicious. The sesame dressing salad was great. Thank you for the amazing service."

"Sain at a table on the outdoor terrace and while the view is a parking place, it is pleasant, with options for sitting both with and without umbrellas. Our waiting staff was absolutely lovable and did a great job I'm sorry I didn't catch your name, but I think you worked the entire terrace that is not easy! The food was delicious as usual. We shared a chicken slaughter (Rache! and a Chinese chicken salad, and both were super fresh and delicious! This was a last minute to find and it was such a great experience because both food and excellent service, we will be back soon!"

"Was pretty upset about the fact that the food was not as good as I had heard from the reviews. Me and my boyfriend got to try three different dishes. They were all very poor quality and taste. The crepe was overfilled with filling which was way too much and ruined the crepe…The strawberries tasted and looked like they came from a can. The eggs Benedict was also really poor as far as taste and quality. They overdid it with the sauce and added way too much ham. There was no balance and it was very bland. Only thing was descent were the country potatoes."

"Posting this review because I thought the food was gross. I started off with the Brisket and the Eggs and had to have them take it back because I just couldn?t get with the taste of whatever the green stuff was (it definitely didn?t taste like salsa), it was honestly kind of sour and the brisket was a bit tough and so I wasn?t a huge fan of that. I just opted to get a kids steak quesadilla and that was really good. The only thing I didn?t like is when I asked for sour cream, I was told they didn?t serve sour cream, which I found quite astonishing, nor did they sale salsa, and so they brought me pico de gallo instead. The Gouda bites were good, but I wasn?t a fan of the chips and dip. Customer service was decent, but I just wasn?t wowed. Food is subpar."

"Service is decent, prices are decent. The beignets are amazing. My husband liked the brisket and eggs. The lemon berry juice and cappuccino were very good as well. I ordered the smoked salmon avocado toast and was very disappointed. I was expecting slices of smoked salmon and was instead presented with a piece of toast covered in kale so I couldn?t see anything inside. When I dug through and found the salmon, it was in large chunks that were very hard and did not looked smoked. The overall construction was terrible as well. Everything else was good so I won?t sock them too far but I wouldn?t recommend the smoked salmon avocado toast at all."

"Awful experience at this restaurant. We had made a reservation assuming it would be busy, but it was surprisingly empty. When a host offered us a table, we opted to go to the bar instead. However, we were completely ignored by the staff despite there being multiple employees behind the bar and it not being busy at all. We eventually left without anyone seeming to care. It is disappointing when a bartender cannot even acknowledge customers. We will not be returning and would advise others to do the same. We ended up going to Tacocraft across the street where the service was much better. Hopefully, the management at Himmarshee Public House will take notice and make some changes to improve their service."

"While travelling for business, my husband and I stumbled on this restaurant. The food is incredible, and the outdoor seating area is lovely and relaxing. "We've already eaten here, but that was perhaps even a better experience than in the past. The food and the prices were really good and the service was top notch. We really know that we just closed 5 minutes before the kitchens, and technically the entire closing time, we were able to order a bottle of Bubbly (we were there for an anniversary) and they were us without complaint. They even let us sit for as long as we had to complete our toast and drinks when they began to clean up at the end of the day. This is so different from some other places where we were where they start pressing you when closing. Our only minor complaint was related to lighting. We sat outside what was great, but the lights couldn't be dimmed, which led to a bright setting when the night came dark. I hope they'll talk to you."

"We arrived at the restaurant for our reservation, but there was no server present, which left us puzzled about the lack of service. When we informed the hostess that we wanted to order food, she directed us to a different area and assured us that someone would assist us soon. We ended up waiting an extended period for a table before finally catching the attention of a staff member, who promised that someone would be with us shortly. After waiting another 15-20 minutes, we had to go find someone ourselves. Once we had a waitress, she was very friendly, but the service remained slow, from drinks to food. Unfortunately, the meal was not as good as during our last visit, and we left feeling quite disappointed."

"We had a 6 person get together for an early dinner on the patio. Pretzels and smoked gouda queso is always great. The shrimp and grits (3 orders , salmon, and grain bowl were all very good (grain bowl has changed in the past couple of months and is better! . Definitely get the grits as a side if you have any choice! The chicken pot pie got an average rating some different spice affected it. Service was a bit spotty maybe because we were on the patio but also maybe the bar was slow? Anyway we enjoyed it and will be back."

"we ordered the chicken alfredo without the chicken, tomato and feta cheese dip, and ended up with the sticky toffee pudding. as vegetarian there is a good choice, but is not as diverse as some of the other places with a similar menu style. Eating was independent, tasty, and we left with full pleasure. jordan has looked around us, and from the time it took, it seems as if he were the only one for some tables. still he was great and cheerful."

"Not having visited in a while, we 'd forgotten just how great this joint was. Herman, the original owner, sold his business way back in 1974; since then, the Shane family has maintained the name, traditions, and legendary comfort food. The place is nothing fancy but the wide ranging menu extends far beyond standard hot dog burger gyros fare. Herm 's is celebrated for their decadent Cardiac Sandwich (pastrami, fried salami pepper jack cheese). Other options include a breaded veal sandwich, rigatoni, fish tacos, eggplant parmesan, pizza puffs, chicken gyros, etc., etc. There are salads and other vegetarian items, and they serve beer, too. Most sandwiches run under $10 (sides are extra), and menu items currently top out at $14.75. At least for now, Herm 's is a safe harbor from inflation. I decided to be brave and order a turkey club. I 've rarely seen this sandwich on other hot dog joints ' menus, but Herm 's version was a solid fresh tasting hit with generous amounts of thin sliced turkey and crispy bacon. My Missus said her chicken kabob plate was better than the versions served at many Mediterranean restaurants. But what made the experience extra special for us was the guy behind the counter who adeptly juggled order taking, serving, food prep, and running the whole show in general with an abundance of friendliness. Craig must have a photographic memory, as he somehow manages to get multiple orders and special requests exactly right without writing anything down. He makes an effort to get to know his customers, too. Watching him work and interact with his back room staff and clearly enjoying his work was a pure delight."

"We weren't up there. Really enjoyed the Happy Hour food in the bar and the Grapefruit martinis. I wish I had noticed our waiter's name, he was the only waiter at the bar tables on July 2nd. The reason for our visit was to see the Hendrix show by Byron Bordeaux, which was great. My husband forgot his Oakley sunglasses on the table. Our honest waiter must have turned them around because they were lost and found the next day. We're coming back!"
