"We recently chose Quintessential on another friend’s recommendation for celebrating a special occasion. The staff was wonderful, as was the food. One of our out-of-town guests remarked that the kebobs were the best she had anywhere. The salmon was another big hit, its delicious flavor almost eclipsed by the scrumptious mushroom risotto served alongside. The martinis were also a big hit (in particular the chocolate). I’m so pleased this restaurant was recommended to us, and I certainly will be recommending it to others!"

"Oh my gosh, I don't even know where to start! Before we even got to Second Happy Door, the host greeted us with menus, and they were very polite. Once we sat down, we were served refreshing water with ice and napkins—such attentive service! Our waiter came by shortly after to take our orders, and the coffee arrived quickly. We ordered the French Toast Deluxe, which came with eggs and cheese, as well as cheddar cheese and extra pancakes. Honestly, this was the best French toast I've ever had! It was perfectly warm and cooked just right in the middle. The flavor was outstanding; the cook truly nailed it. The presentation was also impressive!"

"Excellent food very fresh! I have been very disappointed with all our other local dinners lately and nearly forgot about acropolis (moved away for a few years) they are by far the best diner in town great food great people I go nearly every morning. I would have given 5 stars for atmosphere but one of their longest working servers tends to walk around causing problems with the other servers and complaining about the owners right in front of customers and it makes me uncomfortable. Everyone else is happy and great at their jobs and love the owners. "This place can surprise you, it sure did surprise me! A combination of restaurant and healthy food is carefully balanced in this place. We tried: Salmon crepe 5 stars. Try adding avocado Chili cheese fries 3 stars. Too salty. Chicken salad our absolute favorite. Giant portions, and not simple lettuce, a proper salad mix and all sorts of things and a generous freshly grilled chicken. We are coming back."

"Tonight I ordered pizza for my family, and accidentally ordered from this location instead of my usual Frank's Pizza in East Brunswick. Upon arriving in EB and realizing my mistake I contacted Slice(through which all website orders go through) They informed me that there was nothing they could do because this location refused to authorize cancelation. This is horrible business and I will NEVER set foot in Frank's in Edison!"

"So I was told about this Place by two of the workers there and I reserved it for my birthday and it was pretty awesome of an experience. "They have a wonderful selection of pizza that look amazing but the couple of times I've been there I've had the meat lovers, white, plain , sausage pizza. They are ok nothing to jump up and down about. My first time at the restaurant I ordered a sprite and it was all seltzer water I bought it to their attention and they replaced my drink."

"A fantastic pub feeling that was welcoming and alive. The foods surpassed our expectations as they have used high-quality ingredients (such as complete garlic cloves) to provide a satisfying taste. I have BBQ wings that were super fleshy, saucy, and matched the price. A large selection suggestion and I would recommend to start the Hill Wedge Salad. Also here we are Christmas night, which was a great place that was not a chain."
