"We ordered dinner in this restaurant and were looking forward to good Thai food. Destroyed great time. The sweet and sour chicken was so over fried, so chew and veggies in it was so mushy. The appetizer Sampler was terrible; Calamari, one of my favorites, was not even good and tasteless fried. We threw away most of the items on the appetizer floor. The one plate left was a typical Thai dish, Pad Thai; he was barely edible. It was muddy and tasteless. How can a restaurant have opened so badly for so long? I had eaten in Phang Roy a few years ago and it was moderate, but I wanted to try again. What a mistake! Spent $56.49 for the WORST meal. Dr. A"

"My husband for his bday today wanted to go to Mr. Eds. They are usually excellent. They had plenty staff there was no wait for a table......BUT for almost $70 (1 appetizer, 2 dinners 2 ice teas), the Fried food was over cooked, the steamed mixed veggieslooked as if they came right out a frozen bag no flavor, ordered fries got potato salad, ordered seafood platter wasn't toldthey were out of oysters, told the waiter 3 times no parsley sprinkled on the food ALL of the dishes came with parsley allover it. We love this place im so sad, it was a special nite for my husbands bday it didn't go well. Hope they can get ittogether."

"Delicious! I participated in a class that catered from Thai silk express. We had pad Thai, pad see ew, and a chicken curry. The pad see ew was hands down AMAZING. It has a sweet flavor to it, a nice texture, and I was also really impressed at how good the curry was. It looks good, but tastes even better, especially with the rice. It was super satisfying to the taste buds. If you’ve never had Thai food before or are looking for a Thai place to go to in DTLA, come here. Order out, because you won’t regret it — you’ll end up enjoying it!! The pad Thai though, was probably my least favorite of the three. It was decent overall; still flavorful, but the other two definitely exceeded my expectations."

"We have ordered from here before and it was fantastic. The last time we ordered pad Thai and the pork belly. Both were delicious and would recommend. I gave the food 2 stars due to this time ordering in comparison to the last time. This time the food left much to be desired. I am disappointed that it wasn’t as enjoyable this time. We ordered the bbq beef and it only came with 2 pieces of thinly sliced beef that had very little flavoring and did not taste like it had a Korean flavoring as was described on the menu. $27 for two thinly sliced pieces of beef that just tasted like straight sesame oil, egg yolk and nothing else. I was surprised of the cost for the amount. Also the sweet and sour chicken, although flavorful was very soft, chewy, gelatinous and mushy in comparison to how it was described on the menu as golden and crispy. You know you are doing something wrong when the steamed rice was the best part of the meal. That is sad to say. I suggest going here but definitely stick to the Thai options as it is a Thai restaurant 1st and don’t venture into any of the other choices."

Not only was the food fresh and well seasoned and seasoned, they were also able to soy-free the entire menu for me (as I am allergic). "I went to this restaurant yesterday evening, after arriving in town. I brought small stew chicken, small jerk chicken, three chicken patties and large oxtail(which I believe was not even oxtail)... I PAID 67.60.... 1st impression they didn 't greet us at all( there was a young women and an older man at the register) After about 5mins we were acknowledged. I ordered the food and waited for my food. We ate the chicken patties while waiting for the other food( they were okay). I heard another customer mention the large oxtail and you only recieve 5 pieces with the orde said she will never order that again. The cost of a large oxtail is $26! When my food came out I checked, there was only 5 oxtails FOR $26!!! The food was cold/warm like they tried to microwave it. I asked the young woman why does a large order only come with only 5 oxtails, she replied I don 't know what that has to do with me I dont make the plates . I asked her if she could get someone who knew.... She then went in the back to grab the older man(from earlier). This made it no better because he was so dismissive of my issue( there was not type of customer service). The older man just stated you only get five and walked off.... So I then asked the girl if I could have a refund, she stated no. So I asked for someone else. The owner came out and told me the price is because oxtail cost went up and he gets his seasonings from Jamaica..... He ended up giving me three extra oxtails(neck bones)...He said he has the best food out there and I would see it is worth the cost once I taste food. I was extremely disappointed ?.... oxtail, stew and jerky was nasty, not authentic at all. I 've eaten at over 30 Jamaican restaurants and this by far was the 2nd worst...... Overall food is over priced, customer service is a 0, and definitely not worth a visit! Don 't spend your money where it 's not appreciated and your pockets are being taken advantage of! If I could give a zero I would have!"
