"I ate at Dickie Brennan’s in New Orleans on 06/19/2018. We had a party of six and arrived around 7:00 pm. We realized upon arrival that we were a little under dress, but the hostesses assured us that it was no big deal. We hadn’t made a reservation, but we only waited about 10 minutes to be seated. Before seating us they asked if it was okay for us to be seated in the bar. We had a young child with us so we appreciated them asking before just seating us in the bar. Within two or three minutes of being seated the waiter came to take out drink order. I was surprised to find out they did not sell sweet tea, but I was politely offered unsweetened tea. Our drinks came out quickly along with warm and crisp French bread. We ordered a small New York strip, a fourteen ounce ribeye, the petite filet, and the Grilled Gulf fish, along with a few sides. We waited no longer than thirty minutes for our food and in the meantime the wait staff made sure our drinks were full and asked if we wanted more bread. The New York strip was ordered medium and was a little rarer than expected, but was still edible without having to send it back. The ribeye was ordered well-done and although a little crisp on the out side the steak was still perfectly juicy and tender. The petite filet was ordered medium-rare and was cooked to perfection. Each steak was topped with a garlic herb butter which added just enough flavor depth to make a melody in your mouth. The grilled gulf fish was fork tender and was served with vegetables, both were seasoned nicely. While eating we had four different people, including the head waiter, come by our table asking how our food was. It was upscale and the prices reflected that, however, it was well worth it considering the excellent service and food. We will definitely be eating here again."

"First time i visited this place was 5yrs ago, everything was so good from food, service and atmosphere that i knew in my heart i have to be back. Went here three times this year (looking forward to visit again soon) YOU MUST TRY turtle soup its so rich and flavorful, Shrimp skully at its finest! Every bite was delicious, the same like the first time i had it here. Truffle fries hit my belly from top to bottom, had to finish even the last tiny piece. Shrimp and Grits is my husband’s favorite, idk how he CLEANED his plate but its definitely empty the time he finished eating. I had the fish which is so delightful, I finished Everything. So guilty didn’t have room for desserts. On that day, WE DECIDED to have our wedding reception here, Anita was so helpful and she went extra mile to make everything possible for us. In the middle of pandemic and phase3 lifted restrictions here in New Orleans, we were able to seat 15 adults on a double wide table. Decorators were allowed to come early to set up inside reception, i also asked Anita if incase it rains, can we do ceremony in the restaurant, definitely yes! Btw, Ceremony of Our count down wedding day (4:3:21 @5pm) is just right across the street. ALL OF OUR GUESTS was so happy with the excellent service and great food! Scallops melts in your mouth, gumbo has kick on it, steak is to die for! Seasoned just right, tender and juicy, chicken was phenomenal! Seared perfectly both sides with some squash and pasta. Soo filling! Nooom noooom. Rebecca took care of our party, she was amazing server, always there when we needed more drinks or something. Great service! Hands down to y’all! Thank you for making everything memorable for all of us. DEFINITELY COMING BACK. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! HOSPITALITY AT ITS FINEST!"
