"We arrived right when they opened on 10/3/2023 and had a really nice meal. I wish I would have got our waitresses name, she was so sweet and attentive. We ordered watermelon margaritas, one frozen and the other on the rocks...both were yummy! We also both got burrito monterey meals...mine had fajita beef and my husband had ground beef. Both were delicious! We also tried the queso blanco for the first time and oh lord was it delicious! I have been here many times and for some reason have never tried it. I'm definitely getting it again. Sorry for the messy pic"

"A perfect pre-theater, family-friendly meal. Our ten-year-old loves the food we can’t leave NY without eating here. She loves the Mac ‘n Cheese any BBQ. My husband I have perfected the combo platter with trash ribs, collard greens, mac ‘n cheese cornbread (the “single” meal is plenty for two). Add a chopped salad with house dressing (also big enough for two) you’ll be very happy! Ask for upstairs seating for the best atmosphere and DEFINITELY make reservations for dinner. The service was fine, before evening shows they’re absolutely slammed and the staff did their best. A great place!"

"Food was good. We were really looking forward to trying it and made a reservation in advance. Despite our reservation we waited 25 min to order and another 25 min to receive our food. Service was awful. They were short staffed. Which would normally be understandable these days. But no effort was made to accommodate. We asked for bread to tide us over. Nothing. We were given dirty glasses and had to get our own straws and silverware from the bartender. Our water glasses stood empty. Worst of all? A very generous tip (over 20% was automatically added to our bill even though there were only 5 of us."

"Decided to try this for our first stop for KC resturaunt week 2020 and it definitely did not disappoint! The salmon and prime rib we're great! Some of the biggest portions we've seen (prime rib) on a RW dinner offering. We also had a few drinks(highly recommend the mesquite reiger and the blood orange basil bourbon drink) and their name says it all; they're great at Steaks, BBQ and Whiskey! Will definitely be back! Great value and service!"

"I have the two meat combo plates and both were pretty delicious. Mac and cheese and Coleslaw were also good. Order inside at the counter, find a table inside or outside and they will supply your food to you. A variety of hot sauces inside to taste with cups to take back to your table. "My wife I are fairly new to the area and we were looking for a place for dinner as we celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary. We had heard about Finn's from a family member from the area. The restaurant looked awesome, beautiful inside. The dinner salad was great, however each of the dinners we ordered (meatloaf, salmon snapper) were all severely over cooked. The meatloaf was uneatable it was so overcooked. Service was incredibly slow, especially for a Tuesday night as we had been seated for right at an hour when we first received our salads. The truth is, for the price, the food was very subprime... not what we expected. My recommendation would be to get a new chef before they take you down. One positive, when we told them the meatloaf was terrible, they comped the meal and added a dessert. We would have preferred they cooked the meals appropriately. We weren't looking for a free meal. Until they replace their cook, I would not recommend."

"We are like family a Doolittle’s but won’t go back when they have a musician. It’s too small and we all screamed the whole time. We brought 4 guests. Everyone’s food was greAt as it always is EXCEPT two of us got the seafood pasta special. It might just have been one of the worse meals I’ve ever had. Since I feel like family there I can tell them that it should never be added as a special again. You’re still our favorite but the music is totally unnecessary. No more Friday nights for us."

"Waitress was not attentive even though we asked she still out in appetizers and meals at the same time. Main entrees was less to be desired the ribs were dry. The mac n cheese and hush puppy appetizer was very good but I would not recommend. Also, we had key lime pie which was not presented well and it tasted as if it were old."

"When we were first seated we were sat in the walkway and we couldn’t even sit down at first because people were standing behind the table. When we were greeted by our server, Izzy he moved us without a problem to a much better seat. Izzy was FANTASTIC!! He was full of energy and so quick with the refills, offering suggestions sincebit was our first time here. Service makes the experience and it was truly a success. We look forward to returning again and receiving the same excellent service!!"
