"I ordered fried whiting with mac and cheese. The breading was falling off the fish and the mac and cheese lacked flavor. I called and spoke to the manager who told me my platter will be replaced. I went to pick up the the entree. It was the same with the fish, sweet potaoes was like someone peeled and sliced big chunks and put in the platter, the mac and chesses was still horriable. As a southern cooker myself this food was far from soul food."

"Well...been here several times no complaints or problems until today. Fish was always cooked done and crispy.Tried calling to place an order before my lunch at work. Phone just rings and rings. Place was empty when I arrived.I ordered my food catfish sandwich meal with fries and potato salad.Food was ready quick so I thought like 10mins..Got back to work and was prepared to eat and the fish was not cooked all the way through (raw)and not crispy either. Potato salad was warm sitting under the fish.I called the restaurant and complained. Showed up after work to get a refund or possibly a new cooked through meal.Yall this man was waiting for me and his attitude was stanky immediately he blames me saying I didn't ask for the fish to be crispy!! literally going off on me! Who the hell ASKS for the catfish to be crispy? That's EXACTLY what I was expecting why I gotta tell you to do your job?!I was really surprised didn't expect this attitude at all. My money was refunded and I do not plan to ever order food from here again. Lost my business here sir."

"Best southern food in Westchester. We came all the way from NYC and my partner was here from Chicago and we both loved it. Nice staff and the most sweetest owner you can meet. Funny they ran out of cornbread (it is soooo good) and they turned around and made more and made sure we got it fresh and gave us more since it was not done when we made this order. It was like eating with your favorite grandmother."
