"During our recent trip to New York, we decided to explore the charms of Brooklyn. Once a degraded district in some areas, I had read about its transformation, its new bohemian and cultural facet, its privileged houses with views of the river, and its charm. One morning we took the subway and crossed the river. In addition to discovering a charming part of the city, with historic homes and quiet streets, we stumbled upon the perfect place for breakfast, exactly what I had in mind, one of those corners that make you think how cool New York is. The café Building on Bond has two adjoining spaces. One smaller, where the bar is located, and another larger one with more comfortable tables, some occupied by what seemed like professionals with their laptops, who looked like they had moved their office to that open space. It is a place where peace is breathed, and where the decoration is very well thought out, all with a very cozy vintage touch. Although the kitchen didn't open until 11, we were able to have a real coffee, with a muffin and a bagel that brightened our morning. A peaceful place to stop by if you're in the area and have a good latte in the best atmosphere."
