"Great cupcakes in downtown Oakland. So happy to have them here. The cupcakes are moist and flavorful. I especially like the lemon flavored one. They have mini versions too if you want just a bite. I bought one last time and didn't eat it until the next day and it was just as good. They do offer day old cupcakes for half the price. Four full sized cupcakes cost about $19.00 and everything is carefully wrapped. Two outside tables if you want to splurge on the spot. When we were there today, they had a banana flavor, Smurf (blueberry), cookies and cream, chocolate and some others. I do see different flavors on different d as us, which makes a nice change. Go support this business to make sure they can stay in Oakland!"

"Donno what’s better: getting to know the owners or eating the food- both made our day!! The owners have a story to tell, are thoughtful, smart, hardworking; and lead with their hearts. They obviously care about their neighbors, and their to-go utensils are wooden instead of plastic, so they likely care about the environment too. Ok the food- we got two crepes, 8 empanadas, two fresh mint teas, and two ice creams- all were amazing, we ate such a wonderful meal and have lunch leftover for tomorrow! Can’t wait to return! These guys deserve all the hype!"

"Maitre'd Instead of asking us to voluntarily disclose our vaccine status barked at us... Are you Vaccinated!?!?!Is that even okay to ask, and in such a way?We had made a reservation. However, we don't disclose medical info to strangers especially ones that yell at us LOL .... My husband's ID has been hacked before. I asked if it were a requirement to dine with them. And then he walked it back a little and said we could fill out contact tracing. I said I was happy to. When I was filling out form I said, that as an other professional in customer service, you have to me very careful in asking people to disclose private information.He said He wasn't there to have a conversation with me about that I said, if that were the case, my husband and I guess weren't there to dine with him. We turned around and walked out. I have been dining out for years in Manhattan. First time I have walked away"

"This is a very ingenious local company to support that belongs to super awesome women! They are located next to the sweet café and a few small boutiques on a lively street, in a residential area. Allow time to park and explore the entire block. I was lucky to find a jewelry store a few doors down below that fast gift a beautiful necklace for my BFF packed the birthday girl while I picked up her cupcakes last week. This original location on San Pablo and Alcatraz was so popular that they now have a second location in the Jack London District. They make delicious cupcakes, small and large, for ALL occasions. The chocolate with an oreo cookie is my favorite. They have salted caramel cupcakes, strawberry short cakes, and all kinds of different flavors along with traditional. It is so funny to get an assortment of mini cupcakes so that your guests can all have a two bite taste of any taste. They are all unique, beautiful and naturally delicious. You can usually order online or by phone. You're even DELIVER! Isn't that a total game changer for party planners?? Visit their website to be inspired.
