"I intervened and was very disappointed. Food quality was okay, but every dish was bad for the price. The TLAC (Turkey, Lettuce, Avocado and Cheese) that came without sides had a single piece of meat and cheese and barely avocado. The bread we selected was Brioche, and we got a sandwich between very small pieces of stachel bread. The devil pancakes were funny. The menu describes it as homemade pancakes with Nutella, fresh strawberry, blueberry and banana. The pancakes were thinly spread with Nutella, but had nothing inside. There were a few banana slices, a half-cut strawberry and 4 blueberries. With the number of large American brunches in Jersey City, there is absolutely no way to justify going to Beechwood Cafe for any reason."
