"I was eating breakfast in their Franklin TN location with my wife when they started up their smoker. Unfortunately, their exhaust fan was not working properly (or at all) and the restaurant filled with smoke. Wanting to finish our meal, we finally convinced them to open a door. Both our eyes were beginning to sting so we rushed to finish eating and left. My eye irritation continued to escalate which eventually turned into a Dr visit and Rx eye drops. I called to express my concern. I was told the owner would call me back; which never happened. My recommendation; stick with drive through."

"Don't know how the food was, because we never got it, it sure smelled good. Would have been nice to actually have some. The waitress and host were nothing but nice, but could not seem to get our order in for the life of them. Over 45 minutes of waiting for three lunch specials, I've worked in restaurants a couple of years through college, so I was happy to give them the benefit of the doubt, until I saw a table that walked in 20 minutes after us get our food before us. Absolutely disappointing. In Searcy, a smaller town, there are not many options to eat on Sunday, leaving us with limited choices, And those limited choices we're all incredibly busy, however this place was not nearly that busy. So we definitely expected to get our food in a reasonable time. I take my restaurants and their reviews seriously. Especially when it comes to small name/mom and pop eateries. I will not be back."

"We discovered this restaurant located next to a nearby hotel. The food was excellent. The BBQ sauces were conveniently placed on the table in labeled bottles. We were pleased that we decided to try them as they were some of the best we have ever had. We ordered ribs, pulled pork, beef, and some sausages along with Coleslaw and salad. We weren't impressed with the Mac and cheese, but the main proteins were delicious."

"We received excellent service at Fox Bros. We will definitely come back. But some of the food and drinks were amiss. We had Fried Chicken Ribs, Texas Fries, Pulled Pork Sandwich, Spicy Green Beans, Fox-A-Roni, Smoked wings, Banana Pudding, Dr. Pepper Cake, 19th Hole and Cathead Cooler, Long Island Ice Tea, Moscow Mule, Rum Runner, Potato Salad, Brunswick Stew and Baked Beans. Fried Ribs, Spicy Green Beans, Moscow Mule, Long Island Tea and Rum Runners were definite nos! My pulled pork sandwich was ok. Didn’t like their BBQ sauces though. The potatoe sauce needed a little more punch of flavor, but it was on the right track. The BBQ beans and Brunswick Stew were amazing. Loved my Cathead Cooler and the 19th hole. Boyfriend liked the Cathole Cooler too but he wanted it to be stronger. He absolutely hated the Fried Rib. He said it was too fatty and it was just not good. My sandwich was cool but honestly, I wasn’t a fan of the brioche bun. I was cool with the banana pudding. Didn’t love it. But I ate every bite. The Dr. Pepper Cake makes me wonder if I got the right dessert cuz it didn’t like older photos of the same item so who knows. Didn’t like it. Tasted old. Too much chocolate mousse and not enough cake. It was in a round, but I thought it would be a slice of cake. My boyfriend came back a few days later and got the huge Beef Short Rib. That thing was huge. He wished they sold it everyday. I really love the atmosphere. I’ve been here 2 times prior. I would recommend it. I loved my server. She was phenomenal! So attentive, very thorough and polite. Those Texas Fries were phenomenal though. Get that one for sure. But I did want pickled jalapeños instead of fresh jalapeños. And boyfriend wanted more brisket. Next time we will add it to our order. You would be crazy not to come here. We are major foodies and we can be a bit more critical. That’s why I know I’ll be back because we were feeling more adventurous and sometimes it works against us."

"Outstanding BBQ finally!!! I was lucky enough to experience the food from Daddy D’s at a family gathering last night and it was excellent. So often the food at many BBQ places is not terrible not great just mediocre so I was very pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was from this establishment. The eastern NC chopped pork was delicious and not overly chopped which it can often be at other places. The beef brisket was the best that I’ve had in at least a couple of years. It was sliced rather thick which was wonderful and cooked to perfection with a delightful amount moisture not dry at all. Multiple sauces were included which were delicious from classic eastern NC vinegar to a tomato based BBQ. The sides were green beans, Mac&cheese, collards and Brunswick stew. All the sides were fantastic and I was really impressed with the collards they had a grandma homemade level of goodness going on that made my soul happy. The hushpuppies were great and the cornbread fritters really impressed they were outstanding. Overall I thought this place was fantastic and two 2 meat family packs fed 10 people six of those being men and teenage boys who really enjoy BBQ. Looking forward to trying out their other menu items after this wonderful first encounter!"

"i called my order in they said 25 mins so i waited 25 then i get there have to wait literally 30 more mins!! they said the food “wasn’t ready” one of the plates i got had maybe 7 fries not even. didn’t get the sauce i asked for. didn’t get BBQ sauce for the 2 BBQ plates i had gotten. just to make it even better my food was cold: will never order from here again. the people there acted like they had no clue what they were doing. literally took a whole hour to cook 3 plates that were SUPPOSED to be done in 25 mins."

"Popped in on a Wednesday night with the family for wing night. Every Wednesday is .50 wing day. Not sure about y'all but wings at that price is worthy of a celebration. The scoop...I've been on a few different Wednesdays and the size of the wings may vary but you will get what you pay for and then some. The flavors are good and may come across kind of basic but they taste so good!! (Sweet spicy is my personal favorite! Service has been consistently fantastic. Kudos to BubbaQ for giving me something exciting on hump day!"

"Went through this Sonny’s a couple of weeks ago. I had an issue with my Sandwich. I commented to the Company website. Within a day, I got two calls from this Restaurant (I assume Mgrs) telling me they were sorry and they dropped the ball. I highly recommend eating at this Sonny’s. They took full responsibility and went way above and beyond in how they fixed my issue. I guarantee, if I lived in that area I would be a regular. I have always loved Sonny’s BBQ but this is how you keep business."

"Please save your money. I paid $50 for the absolute worst BBQ in the country! This food is shameful. My order had 3 meats, 4 ribs, 3 sides, and 2 cornbread. I ordered 2 pulled pork and burnt ends. For the sides I had 2 orders of baked beans and Mac and cheese. The entire order all fit in a one person container. The ribs are flavorless chewy and rubbery. The pulled pork was dry and had no sauce they provide you with sauce at 25 cents per sauce. The sauce tasted like the Kraft bbq sauce that’s a dollar a bottle. The burnt ends were beyond salty and where cheap cuts of meat. The Mac and cheese tasted like the Mac and cheese they served in the school cafeteria. The cornbread was so dry that it crumbled to dust. Overall the meat tasted old the sides were nothing special, if you are in the mood for BBQ this ain’t it!"

"my friend and I went on a big hike and we starve. fond this hidden gemstone and will be absolutely back. tayler was our server and she is 100% the knee of the bees. from the inviting smiles and the fastness of everything she has saved us, by leading the most superior round house **** to a yellow jacket that tried to attack my friend. she is very allergic to her eating was great. the egg rolls are a moss and half the chicken is finger licking good. also do not sell themselves short and do not receive bananenpudding. you will cry home if you don't. I forgot to make the picture of pudding. I've smashed all this before I ever thought about it now, if they've made it so far and they still ask to try the nest just go to her look at her menu online they won't be disappointed. many thanks, more tayler, that they have made this the best experience for us."
