"We can't remember our servers name. Perhaps sherry? Either way we drove from Ontario for a friend's wedding and they suggested this restaurant to meet up at for a weddings eve meal. The food was awesome. The margs were even better. They had some issues with their hood and couldn't immediately serve entrees but our waitress was absolutely wonderful. We had the best time and as soon as they could serve food , the waitress made sure we got an order in. Thank you for making a special time even more memorable. Would definitely come back !"

"The Talpa is some of the best Mexican cuisine Ive had, on the westside. Generous portions , fresh ingredients, reasonable prices, zero pretense. Chile Relleno (A LA Carte) divine. Light batter around a juicy pablano, generous filling. Best deal on the westside. Highly recommend. Enchilada-shrimp (with Rice and Beans) Superb green mole sauce, perfectly cooked shrimp. My favorite refried beans in LA. Highly recommend. Flour Tortillas cant order from The Talpa without at least a couple of their exquisite flour tortillas."

"If you are ever in the Elsinore Lake, you will fall from El Nayarit for some Mexican food! I met two cool people after I made a trip through the Ortega highway. One of them was an older gentleman who had recommended me the place as he was a local and the second was a server called Angel who recommended me some bomb food! Unfortunately I don't remember the dishes, but it tasted amazing! I published the picture for everyone to see! If you see a Lime green challenge parked outside, you are in the right place!"

"this was a special evening that we heard from Placita by mouthpropaganda and decided to try. it was a great choice. the atmosphere was casual, but not sloppy. eating was very well prepared, savory and well presented. the weeping list was good (and growing.) our server had still entered into her job, but what she lacked in polish, made her with attention and courtesy. the general manager came out to ask about our meal. he was very nice and we had a great discussion about local and regional weeping. I would recommend it. it is expensive and the menu aspirational. I think it covers most of its bases well. I'm back."
