"My husband had the black burger, and he liked it (even if the bacon was undercooked); the beef was delicious. I ordered the tuna and thought it was grilled for the main course, but I didn't watch it was just a larger part of the appetizer. There were three reels of thin tuna wrapped around guacamole, sitting in a large puddle of very salty soy sauce. Underwhelming. What I really wanted was a big fresh salad, but I'm sorry there's not much choice for salads. I had also hoped to gourmet versions of Costa Rican traditional dishes such as Casado or tamal, or even something simple like rice and beans, but Makoko tried unsuccessfully to be eclectic and imagination."
