"I decided to check out Marugame Udon at San Ramon's City Center. It would normally have long lines outside and a long wait. But lunch at 3:30pm sounded like a good time to try this latest hotspot in San Ramon. And it did not disappoint. The broth was flavorful, a tad on the sweet side but lots of ginger flavor gives it a mild kick. I tried a couple of their tempura offerings...the best one for me is actually the shrimp. The batter was light and fresh. Definitely will be back."

"Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen was delicious! The noodles were the perfect texture. The toppings and noodles were packed separately from the broth. The spice level was just right. I got it with a side of pork gyoza, and they were super tasty, too!"
