"Went in today to eat some food in the morning. The place was packed but the food and the service was excellent. The cashier Maria was very nice and asked me if my visit here was good due to it being busy. She was very welcoming and accommodating. I will definitely return to eat there again and I highly recommend this restaurant."

"100% family style Restaurant. Loved the shrimp tacos& fresh made at your table guacamole. Went on a Friday evening, enjoyed a family style karaoke night and some dancing! The drinks are delicious! All house made, my favorites are the piña colada, mango and Tamarindo margaritas, very tasty! They also have buffet brunch Sat and Sunday! Here you're treated like family."

"Very cozy asian-style noodle spot! I ordered a beef pad thai for lunch. The food was good, but it wasn’t until I added fish sauce and chili at home where all the flavors came out and molded together! I wish I asked for the condiments in-person. The beef was more on the hard side though, I wish it was softer. The portion was bigger than I expected but was the perfect size. I would love to come back and try other noodle dishes on the menu. In terms of service, I was greeted with smiles by the hostess doubling as a server as I walked in the door. Very attentive and very kind. She knows her customers very well. The food came out quick and I was able to get a good meal in while I was in-between classes. The music was great it contributed to the ambiance. I loved the fact that I could also hear the wok sizzling in the background as they were cooking."

"I am glad I went so I can cross it off my list of places to go. Gojjo made Philadelphia magazines 30 cheesesteaks. The first thing I didn't like is the price I paid was at least $2 higher than when I saw online. It wasn't a horrible cheesesteak and it did come with a couple french fries. I guess the seasoning makes it Ethiopian. I guess $7 for a draft isn't bad in the city. It wasn't a horrible overall experience."

"What happened to the old Penny's Noodle Shop??? The original that started in Chicago on Roscoe Ave and on Diversey Avenue. I don't know if the ownership changed hands or what but this place is not the same and it's truly sad. Penny's Noodle Shop used to be so popular in the city and this one in Northfield used to be pretty much the same as the downtown locations. Now they've changed their menu and the dishes that were on the old menu are not the same. Flavor and freshness is lacking and whatever seasoning they are doing tastes off. I've dined in and ordered delivery and it's been overall poor. Don't waste your time ordering from here thinking you're going to get the old Penny's because sadly that's no longer here. I know I won't be wasting my time and money here anymore."

"The tacos were amazing, and just having two was so filling. The meat was juicy, the tortillas perfectly soaked in fat, and everything tasted fresh. Other things were a mixed bag: the quesadillas weren't heated up thoroughly, so the cheese wasn't melted; I didn't care much for the beef cemita, especially the bread. The staff was friendly and attentive. Sometimes the music was really loud."
