"I went at the recommendation of hotel staff while visiting Chicago. I was told the food was good and that it was one of the few places open at night. Although the latter is true, I didn?t have as good of an experience when I ate here. My egg roll came outa little burned but I ate it anyways and it was decent. I ordered kung pao chicken and the portion was huge but the chicken wasvery dry and overdone. I typically don?t send food back so I tried to eat it? after having a second piece of chicken I realizedit was going to be pretty difficult to eat. The server was very kind and let me choose something else from the menu. He wentback to the kitchen and told me he?d tried a piece of chicken and that he agreed it was too dry. The service is the reason thatthis review is 3/5 and not 2/5. I chose the Thai chili fried tofu and the few pieces that I had were delicious. However, Ididn?t eat much of it because I?d eaten the (also dry) rice that came with the chicken while I waited for my food the secondtime. I ordered a lemon tea as well but didn?t drink it because it tasted more like hot lemonade than tea. The other reviewshere seem pretty good, so I?m not sure what happened. It was a Wednesday at 10:30 pm, but there were still a decent number ofpeople inside. This wouldn?t be a place I?d return to if I visit Chicago again."

"I decided to try this restaurant because they were one of the few places nearby that offered Honey Walnut Shrimp on their menu. I placed my order online through their website and was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the food arrived on a Friday night! From the first bite, I knew that this was some of the best Asian food I had ever tasted and definitely one of the top 5 meals I have ever had. The honey glaze, fried shrimp, walnuts, and vegetable fried rice all combined to create a delicious explosion of flavors. I absolutely loved the Honey Walnut Shrimp and will definitely be returning. While it was a bit pricey, it was worth every penny to me."

"I tried Puket (Phuket? Curry extra hot. Menu says it's milder. Waitress said it's different sauce from Red curry. Was it good? Yeah. But not as good as Red, imo. I'll try Red next time. EDIT: Red curry great. See pic. Dragon and Rainbow rolls were good too. (For any noob beginners, yellow curry is like India food, lots of tumeric I think cumin. Red Thai curry is very different. Panang is like Red but with gritty ground peanuts. Massaman is milder and sweeter. Dragon Roll was delicious. No pics. P.S. she said it comes on a plate. I thought, curry with sauce should be in a bowl .. kinda like soup. Well, it *did* come in a shallow bowl with wide rim, like pics, so that was good."

"As a Malaysian, I was really excited about having Malaysian food again. You can find typical Malaysian dishes here such as nasi lemak, char kuey teow and curry laksa. The only drawback for Muslims is that the meat is not halal I stick to seafood based food. This place comes highly recommended by Malaysians residing in DC and I'd say that I was not disappointed. I took my non-Malaysian friends and they loved the food. My friend was severely allergic to peanuts and we requested to remove peanuts but unfortunately they still served the peanut sauce with the satay which was why I gave one less star because it was a concerning situation, but thankfully everything was alright. They also have other cuisines from other Asian countries available if you like more options!"

"WONDERFUL Experience Service was amazingly fast: within 5 minutes of the order, our server began to bring out our appetizers. And within 15 minutes of the order everything food was brought out and put on the table! And we ordered some food, so it was even more impressive. We had: Crab rangoons salt and pepper calamari beef satay with peanut sauce and vinegar gurke Seafood Basilikum House lo my General Tso's Chicken Spicy Pot made of gold Tiramisu Each single dish was excellent in quality and execution (although the General Tso was a tiny bit too crisp for the taste of my dad), and good portions for lunch, more than enough. Calamari tasted fresh, was exactly the right amount cooked so it was not too chewing, and the dough was easy. My spicy gold pot was incredibly tasteful, and the beef Satay was well seasoned, perfectly grilled and delicious. Lunches average around $9 10, and it is an excellent value. Eight thumbs from all diners on our table!"

"This restaurant was recently reopened (Feb, 2014) after renovations and with new owners. The facility is clean and refurbished, even with limited seating. The food was very well listed with many dishes with a selection of meat, seafood or tofu or only vegetables. Overall, the food is a cut above what the average Chinese restaurant serves in this area. On a second trip I got the roasted tofu with peanut sauce Appetizer, which was delicious, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The pad Thai was very good and a plentiful portion. By the way, dishes served with rice can be white rice or brown rice. Can be overcrowded on a sat. night (I have heard), but no problem at noon. Updated from the previous review on Monday, 10. "Really enjoyed the nostalgia of eating nasi lemak (a fave). Char kuey teow P. Pinang sedapnya (get the shrimps to make it more classic). Roti telur is 100. Top off with some teh tarik. Hainese chicken rice also nice. Really miss my super foodie home in Penang. This restaurant helps to take me back."
