"Very nice Chinese restaurant beautifully designed interior, which also absorbs sound very well. Place adjustment also looked nice. The lighting at night was very bright and should be pulled down a bit for dinner to improve the ambience. The food was excellent, like the waiting staff. However, they were very busy on a Saturday evening; it took about 45 minutes to be served for food after order. The prices were higher than an ordinary Chinese restaurant, but you get what you pay here. We're definitely going back."

"This week, I went with a friend for lunch at Maiko Sushi Lounge. She is very savvy at finding good places, especially with good sushi lunch specials, since sushi is her favorite food. She reminded me of Maiko, a restaurant I visited almost seven years ago, when I still lived in downtown Austin. We arrived at noon on a Tuesday, and it was totally packed! I couldn't believe how busy it was obviously the word is out that the food is EXCELLENT, especially for the price. I had the chicken katsu lunch special bento box for $14 and it came with sushi, salad, miso soup, fried rice, an egg roll and a fried dumpling. WOW! I would totally give Maiko five stars except for our waitress kind of forgot about us since it was so busy, and it took us about 25 minutes to actually place our order. The owner/manager came to apologize and they were very nice about it. I definitely recommend Maiko. Every place gets busy, I just had to mention it."

"We decided to try Sunday Brunch.. we did AYCE w/ cocktails only being $0.25 each. Food was deeeeelicious!! I had their **** Mary and it had the perfect amount of kick to it. My Hubby and friends tried a few of their other cocktails/mimosa loved it as well. We decided on this brunch location due to a recommendation. Only wish we had a heads up of how small the tables were since we had 4 adults and 4 kids (5 under). It was a bit of a mess with the kids but other than that, it was great!! Hoping we can get a babysitter next time so we can really enjoy this spot!!"

"I'm on a gluten-free diet. the server and cook in this restaurant worked with my needs, a simple but tasty meal salmon (cooked in oil, not butter) and vegetables (also in oil) and rice, not to create any butter on the side. it was delicious and expertly prepared. one of the best meals I had during the trip to south carolina. prove that an antiallergic meal does not have to be boring! thanks to the server for listening to my needs and to the cook for expert preparation!"

"Golden Chopsticks has always been our favorite spot for authentic Chinese cuisine. Each dish is made to order and always tastes fresh and delicious. We’ve been loyal patrons for decades, starting from its original location and continuing after the move to the new one. It’s remarkable to think we’ve been dining here since our son was just 5 years old, and now he is 38! That certainly speaks volumes about the quality of the restaurant. Peter, the owner, along with his family, are wonderful hosts. Our favorites include the home rolls, Kung Pao Beef, Shrimp Chop Suey, Beef Broccoli, and Garlic Shrimp. "I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday evening and was left feeling disappointed. Despite being advertised as a high-end Japanese restaurant, I found the menu to be limited outside of sushi and the quality of the food to be lacking. I ordered the Tiger Shrimp Tempura and was disappointed to receive rubbery shrimp with a thick, doughy coating. The tempura batter should have been light and crispy, but it seemed like the shrimp had been overcooked. When I sent the dish back, the waiter's response suggested that this was not the first time they had encountered this issue. The wings I ordered were decent, but my wife's snow crab California roll was not only average in taste but also came in a disappointingly small portion for the price of $22. The selection of wines by the glass was also limited, with only a sweet cabernet available. The only positive aspect of our experience was the attentive and efficient staff. Overall, I felt that this restaurant did not live up to its claim of being a Japanese establishment, as many traditional dishes were missing from the menu. The overpricing and false perception of being upscale only furthered my disappointment."

"After hearing positive reviews about this restaurant, we decided to give it a try and invited some friends to join us for a casual dinner for four. Two of our group do not eat raw fish, so we ordered the Aji Fly bento and Seabass bento for them. They were both very pleased with their choices. The other two of us ordered the sashimi combo, which was so delicious that we ordered another one to take home. We also tried three different rolls, all of which were fantastic. The fish was incredibly fresh and everything we tried tasted exceptional. We also appreciated the beautiful and classy way the food was presented. I highly recommend this restaurant."

"Beware giving this place a credit card. Sounds like it is normal for them to charge you, not deliver and then refuse a refund, making you go through a credit card company or bank.We ordered one dish and some egg rolls. Two hours later we don’t have food. We call and no one picks up. For 30 minutes. At 6:30 on a Saturday night. We ordered from another place (sounds like a blessing in disguise based on the food reviews) and had food in 30 minutes.I finally got through at 9:00 to ask for a refund. After 5 minutes on hold while they figured out a story the girl got back on and said it had been delivered. The delivery person went to the correct address and gave it to a guy out front who knew my wife’s name. Obviously a lie but they refused to give me a refund. I asked for the owner but she wouldn’t be in until the next night.I went there the next afternoon and asked to see the receipt. They actually signed the credit card receipt themselves instead of admitting they didn’t deliver our food. Of course the owner, Maria, was not there again. I told them I wanted a refund and they claimed they can’t do it and you have to go through your bank. I asked when Maria would be there, they said 8:30 and I left.Went back again at 8:30 and…it was closed. Half an hour early. To her credit Maria did come to the door and spoke with me. The story got even better as now the driver actually watched the mystery man enter my house. They apparently lie as well as they run a restaurant. Maria told me they can issue a refund but they don’t know how, apparently one person can do it but she won’t be there until tomorrow when Maria won’t be there and apparently both are necessary to process a refund? I gave up and will dispute the charges with my credit card company. Should be easy with the clearly fake signature on the receipt.These people are frauds, thieves and liars. If for some reason you decide to go, I’d use cash and order pickup. Or do yourself a favor and just go somewhere else."

"I was impressed by the amount of vegan options Yoshimatsu offers! We tried all vegan sushi on the menu with the exception of the blessed salad roll! I have never tried a vegan role with pickled ginger (oshinko roll) and I have appreciated creativity with it! I hope to see different roles in the future or a specialized vegan role! Overall good option for numerous vegetable and rice rolls. Next time I will try the vegetables nigiri sushi!"
