"Okay, so I'm biased. My wife and I have been coming here since our first date, and she's been a regular since the day they opened. But here's the thing about a good neighborhood place: You don't get tired of going. Ever. They take care of you and establish relationships that are deeper than digging for tips. If you're really lucky, you'll see that they are both people who care about your experience, and if you're lucky, people who can be great friends. The food: These are, in my opinion, the best wings in Brooklyn. Better than Superwings, better than Bonnie's, better than anywhere you can mention. And they are tied for best wings in all of NYC with Wogie's (who are the best in Manhattan IMHO). They key is the butter to vinegar ration in their sauce, so that it sticks to the wings, and puckers your mouth. The Cobb Salad is my other old fallback, and the homemade ranch dressing makes it the absolute jam. The whole place is very comfy. It gets packed sometimes, but you just have to pick your timing. I don't try to go there on wing night anymore, or at certain dinner rushes. I'll gladly take a walk for an hour and then sit up at the bar and ask one of the John's (there are two primary bartenders named John) to pick a beer out for me."
