"Walked in 30 minutes before they closed (at 10:30, they advertise that they close at 11) tonight to buy a snack and was met with Ma 'am hurry up. We 're trying to close. I had been in there for maybe 2 minutes at that point. I work in the service and food industry myself and would never want to hold anyone up after a long shift. There 's a way to deal with people kindly and with consideration. I have experienced rude comments from the staff here a few times. Tonight was the last straw for me. I 'll definitely be going across the street to Duke Ellington Deli where they are always kind to their customers."

"It?s got that dive bar atmosphere with that 5 star restaurant! The customer service was great, the bartender was on top of things! The food was AMAZING!!! those wings were super saucy and delicious! Tasted like secret recipe kinda sauce. The home grown, pickled vegetable medley was a great surprise! The breading was fluffy and crisp at the same time! The catfish was melt in your mouth delish. My smothered chicken was a little dry but the gravy was worth it. We came for a local treat and were pleasantly surprised by the whole experience!! Will definitely we eating there again next time we hit the casino."

"My colleague and I went to eat lunch at Mudhook because the food looked really good. However, we walked in today to horrible service. There was only one patron sitting down eating. We weren’t greeted or anything. Due to this being our first time we were unaware of the procedure to be seated. The bartender rudely tells us “you can sit anywhere”. Still both confused, we asked do we order first and then sit. He then in an extremely rude voice says you can sit anywhere and I’ll come to you. I was very saddened about the experience because I really wanted to try this place. The service was so bad we left and tried the Italian place next door. They definitely need a lesson in customer service."
